Andy’s iLL has been making his style of electro grime music for the past two years. With half a million plays on SoundCloud, this London, Ontario native has made quite the name for himself in the electronic music scene.
His “Requiem for a Dream Dubfix” track gained support from the likes of Nero, Skrillex, Le Castle Vania and Figure, the latter calling it “one of the biggest dubstep tracks of the year”. It generated over 100,000 plays in only one month and showed how hyped people were on Andy’s original sound.
More recently, Andy’s remixed the Atari Teenage Riot track “Black Flags” and Europe’s “The Final Countdown”, leading to him getting signed with Dim Mak Records. His original track “Lifetime” was featured on Dim Mak’s New Noise Volume 1, released in October 2011. With a new single and EP dropping in the near future, 2012 is shaping up to be quite a crazy year for Andy’s iLL.
