Billy The Kit’s core sound cannot be described with words, you simply need to hear it! The man’s uplifting record spinning is energetic, sexy and powerful with his characteristic BTK twist. Being one of the current top-artists in the Dutch party scene with more than 20 gigs a month, he is proud to be performing at club nights and events like Emporium, Extrema Outdoor Dance Valley, Mysteryland, Castle of Love, Lake Side, Free Funk and Solar.
In addition to this Billy performed as a weekly resident on a MTV’s Totally Summer on Tour round clubs in Spain, Greece, Turkey, Bulgaria, Germany, Belgium, France and Italy. So far he has done 4 summer tours, doing over 30 gigs within 7 weeks in 6 different countries. He has hosted several radio shows with 3FM, 538 and Fresh FM amongst others. Back home Billy The Kit couldn’t wait to start his new project ‘Billy The Kit Solo’ which sees the DJ spinning records during a 4 hour DVJ set supported by self mixed live visuals. With his exclusive solo events in Holland, which are extraordinary for a DJ like him, he was good for sold out clubs and he’s known for giving people the night of a lifetime.
Over the years Billy has released several songs and 3 mix albums, accompanied by a successful solo tour throughout the entire country. Billy’s releases have resulted in 6 top 10 releases with Dance-Tunes and a top 10 hit with Beatport. His tracks are supported by DJ’s like David Guetta, Laidback Luke, Swedish House Maffia, Armin van Buuren, Afrojack and Chuckie.
After these successes Billy came more and more in the picture with all the major labels and at the beginning of 2011 Billy signed with EMI Music, the major label of Swedish House Mafia and David Guetta. The same year Billy’s first release with EMI became a fact, ‘Don’t Be Shy’ immediately hit the charts and was chosen to be the anthem of the Dutch MTV’s awards.
In addition to this his single ‘Don’t be Shy’ lead to guest appearances with major national TV broadcasters like MTV & RTL and he has hosted several radio shows with major national stations like 3FM, radio538 and SLAM FM.

At the moment he spends most of his time in the studio, where he is working on new music alongside other famous Dutch producers. In September, a split EP from Billy The Kit and Laidback Luke will be released through Mixmash.
Billy The Kit is famous for his energetic and charismatic live performances, of which he does no less than 240 a year. With his eccentric personality he knows how to run everybody over and turn everyone into a hardcore fan. The fact that he recently signed to ACE Agency – where his successful Dutch colleges Afrojack and Sidney Samson will be waiting for him – shows he has strong international ambitions.
Hailing from Rotterdam, The Netherlands, comes a Dutchman by the name of Jacob van Hage. With his own sound and style he wants to send out a clear signal about who he really is and what to expect when listening to his tracks, mixes and live gigs. Through incredible skills and his intense work ethic, Jacob has risen from humble beginnings to become a worldwide recognized name. In 2011, Jacob was seen as the most promising crossover DJ/Producer in the scene by bringing together different styles of electronic dance music. With a monthly residency at Time Out (Awarded as “Most Populair Club in Holland”), he managed to develop his own unique floor driven style and that paved the way for greater triumphs.
In the studio, Jacob’s sound truly comes alive. With his remix of “Acid Dream” he proved to be able to treat a classic with respect. The wide image and feel he wants to send out can be heard when you hear “On Stage”! This track is focused more on the Bigroom Progressive side of music, one of Jacob’s favorite styles and supported by many in the likes of Tiesto, Hardwell & Dash Berlin. And then there’s “Synthomanic”… a track that you would have to invent an entirely new genre for in order to describe it. Jacob took the liberty and named it for you; Stomp House. Synthomanic has gained huge support from some of the biggest names in the scene:
Sidney Samson: “Play! Or die!”
Steve Aoki: “Stomping track!”
And also in the list, an award from Dada Life: “The Champagne & Banana Stomp Award!”
In 2011 Jacob enjoyed more success, with his smash hit “Spotfire” (Doorn/Spinnin’ Records) he landed a #1 position on Beatport and countless compilation signings worldwide. Spotfire was considered the biggest track at Ultra Music Festival during the Miami Winter Music Conference 2011. Industry giants Dim Mak took note; they signed another banger called “Eponym” (from a collab with D-Wayne). With firm support of Mr Steve Aoki himself things can only get better for Jacob. Also Dadalive is one of his followers, Jacob was asked to remix the track “Fightclub is closed” that topped the charts for weeks. After this remix there was the Jacob van Hage Remix for Ferry Corsten’s “Feel It” wich also contains the signature snares and dubstep crossover flow as Spotfire has.
Another beauty in the list is “Convoi”, also released on Doorn Records! This was the turning point for Jacob because he found his true love: House VS Trance ; Trouse! Uplifting, pounding, trancy but still at 128 BPM, which gained him lots of respect and support.
His ability to entertain a crowd, swirl them round and leave them wanting more makes him a promoter’s dream. When Jacob steps into the DJ booth he becomes a monster and the true entertainer in him surfaces, the guy is all over the place! With his own sense and feel on the atmosphere, Jacob turns every dancefloor into mayhem. “I really love to get into the vibe of the dancefloor in front of me and play the tracks my heart tells me to play,” as Jacob explains himself. This is why Dim Mak asked Jacob to join their stage at Tomorrowland with Steve Aoki, Afrojack & Dada Life amongst others and MTV asked Jacob to join their Club MTV Clubtour for 2012.
Also abroad things are really lifting off for this sympathetic Dutchman. With invitations from every corner of the world, 2012 will be the year of numerous international gigs and more mindblowing productions, remixes and collabs.
