Infected Mushroom is a group that immediately comes to mind when I think of heavy hitting, speaker vibrating music, and they’re living up to this description with “See Me Now”. This aggressive and dynamic track packs a punch while simultaneously having super chill undertones that feature the duos impressive layering abilities. Complex and dare I say infectious, “See Me Now” is a no holds barred party starter that has a place on every mix to ensure a larger than life music experience.
By now, I’m sure you’ve fallen in love with Felix Cartal and Autoerotique’s “The Alarm”(and if you haven’t, then shame on you). Whether you have or have not, prepare yourself to get stoked all over again because it’s been remixed, giving the already vibrant track three fresh new perspectives. The Erick Rincon 8Ball Bootleg is, in my humble opinion, the most eclectic; it almost has the vibes of a party in Cuba experiencing an air raid. With the Keys N Krates rendition, expect bass for days and the feeling of chills creeping down your fist pumping arms. Different still is the Charlie Darker remix, which lends a throwback early house music experience while maintaining the hyperactivity of the original track. It’s quite an accomplishment to take a piece that is already a mega anthem in its own right and turn it into a whole different work of art, but these three producers did just that and did it remarkably well.
AUTOEROTIQUE & FELIX CARTAL – THE ALARM REMIXED PREVIEWS
Being a native Texan, I’m stoked to present DIRTYPHONICS and their band of misfits as they take on three major Texas cities in the IRREVERENCE TOUR “Like Animals Episode 3” video. Making stops in Houston, Dallas, and Austin, the DIRTY boys wreck shop with loads of energy, confetti, stage dives, booby stamping, sensual shower scenes, stuffing people into lockers, and the sighting of a Texas staple…a “treadmill” (or as it is more formerly called, a windmill). Featuring tracks off the monumental “IRREVERENCE” album with footage that makes me green with envy for missing it, this episode is full of what makes Texas weird and makes the producers we love #DIRTY. Check out the previous two episodes from this epic nationwide tour and keep your eyes open for the next brilliant video from the DIRTYPHONICS “IRREVERENCE” tour.
Are you in desperate need for some super sexy .gifs? You may not know it, but the answer is YES, yes you are. And have we got just the thing for you. In honor of the music video for Autoerotique’s “Asphyxiation” reaching #2 on the BeatPort Electronica Chart, we present you with 22 .gifs depicting some of the most stunning dodgeball players in history; girls doing flips and being all around badasses, guys getting hit in their tender bits by dodge balls, and lots of slow motion bouncing. My personal favorite is the shark mascot tearing the head off the bald eagle mascot, but a close second would be the leader of the pack licking her hard-won trophy. Good luck figuring out which one is your top pick, and let us know which you choose in the comments below!

Tommy Trash, an Australian born producer with a lion’s mane and a pension for partying hard as hell, is unleashing his raw talent upon us with the release of “Blair Bitch Project” and its accompanying remixes. Five tracks total, “Blair Bitch Project” takes the idea of regular remixes to a whole new level; each track sounding like a separate entity hell bent on making you groove. Tommy, a Grammy nominated producer, made one track of solid genius and let his friends take over from there; in this case, his friends are VCO, Hot Mouth, Mumbai Science, and Sound of Stereo. With a stable like that, you know the outcome is going to be diverse and oozing with irresistible sounds that will make your ears weep with joy.
MIGHTYFOOLS may not be at the forefront of your playlists for summer adventures, but do trust me when I say that they absolutely should be. So, I was listening to Greg Cerrone’s WoaWoa BeatPort chart this morning while preparing my first cup of coffee for the day, and I actually had to put the coffee down and bust a move in the middle of my kitchen. I’m not even kidding. It’s a rare sight to see a sleepy headed, coffee deprived person dance their ass off in their pajamas at six in the morning. BUT THIS CHART IS THAT GOOD, Y’ALL. It got me amped. In support of his very recent release of “WoaWoa”, Greg Cerrone has given us a BeatPort chart that is overflowing with hyperactive tracks guaranteed to make your boring work/school day go by like nine thousand times faster. Featuring SHOWTEK, JOHN DAHLBACK, STEVE AOKI, ALESSO, ALBIN MEYERS and a handful of brilliantly chosen other talented producers, Greg Cerrone’s WoaWoa BeatPort chart is basically the equivalent of an adrenaline shot to your face. Go get it. Seriously.
Take a dash of funk, a spoonful of electro, two cups of dub, and pound of dance. Mix it all together. Chill it out. Sprinkle with Diplo. Serves a billion. Now, prepare yourself for the tasty and groundbreaking release of “P.O.V 2.0”, the follow up release of the original “P.O.V” by The Death Set. With “P.O.V 2.0”, a mastermind reworking has been produced by Diplo and The Partysquad, and it is just a whole new level of gritty/sexy/delicious fun. Described as “a punk, electro banger”, this track has something that will appeal to basically anyone who enjoys good music in all its various incarnations. Put together so flawlessly, “P.O.V. 2.0” is a work of art that will make you dust off your mirror and brush up on your twerkin’ skills, or (in my case) just dance like a total maniac because when music is this good, who cares about dance moves. Plug in, turn it up, and get down on this anthem of epic proportions.
Following the debut release of his EP “Rumble”, Garmiani has meticulously put together a BeatPort chart that will make you want to send him fan mail requesting he come arrange your music library into something equally as brilliant as his chart. Featuring two slammin’ tracks off his new EP, along with the newest music from Steve Aoki, Felix Cartal, Greg Cerrone and more, the Rumble Chart is preparing us for the songs we’ll be hearing all summer so that by the time you get to (enter favorite festival name), you’ll know every in and out of every badass track like the back of your own hand. Or better, because there are more important things to do than study the backs of your own hands. You get the point! Rumble Chart is a compact little party for your ears, the host of this party is Garmiani, and it’s all under the roof of Dim Mak Records.
