Buzzine.com got with the boss-man Steve Aoki to discuss the recent (unexpected) success of “Wonderland”; the remarkable new full-length album to reach a height of Number 9 on the iTunes Top 10 Albums.
In the 16th episode of “On The Road With Steve Aoki” we join Steve through 20 cities of the Summer 2011 Identity Tour. We open on the stage-front amass thousands of bass-hopping fans alongside Steve, Afrojack, and friends. Rusko, Datsik, and Crystal Method meet us backstage with talks of (stuffed) tigers, beer, and broken legs as we pan through the streets and hotel floors of New Orleans.
Another one for the record books- Skrillex (and friends) took over the entire floor plan of Dim Mak Studios, as the kicker to his 6-stop “Mothership” LA-tour.
They may still be only halfway through smashing the house out of their current North American tour, but Belgian upstarts Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike today announced, through this ever-so-slightly surreal teaser clip on their official YouTube channel, the news they will now be supporting none other than Steve Aoki and Datsik on the world-renowned and infamous Deadmeat Tour!
The pair have already carved out a huge reputation with US and Canadian dance fans over the past few months, and return for the second time this year in March at the bequest of Dim Mak’s iconic head honcho Aoki.
Confirming six dates on the massive tour — hitting the cities of Vernon and Vancouver in Canada and Seattle, Eugune, Portland and Sacramento in the States — for the brothers it’s yet another chance to show off the unique arena-busting style that is making them on of the most talked about new acts to emerge in recent years.

March 9th — Paramount Ballroom, Seattle (US)
March 10th — PNE Forum, Vancouver (Canada)
March 11th — McDonald Theatre, Eugene (US)
