We all know Keys N Krates play by their own rules when creating their far from ordinary trap inspired beats. Well, we got to spend some rehearsal time with the trio to see just how they make the musical magic happen. The production of their latest single, “Treat Me Right” released on Dim Mak Records, started off as a jam session with Adam Tune on drums, David Matisse playing keys, and Jr. Flow mixing on the turntables. KNK likes to record their music like a traditional band, “jamming it out until something comes out” says Adam. Watch as they rehearse for their live performance of “Treat Me Right”.

The Earth is a precious rock covered in meat sacks (humans) hurtling through space at a seemingly unending spiral of universal epicness. But it’s not just us human skin bots! We share this gorgeous and strange planet with millions of gorgeous and strange creatures (and I don’t mean your relatives). As the saying goes, knowledge is power, and the more we know about the animals that help make up our ecosystem, the better we can learn how to coexist. Thankfully, the fellas at MisterEpicMann and Onkel Bernis Welt have graced us with two videos that demonstrate the various eating styles of some of our furry and feathered friends; this is like next level PBS Nova shit right here. After watching these videos, you’ll be able to go to your family reunion, full of people who think they are better than you, and demonstrate your extensive knowledge of how a kangaroo gets his grub on. You can take joy in saying “Take that, cousin Mark, with your fucking Doctorate’s! I can eat this salad like a goddamn rhino! Bet they didn’t teach you that at Stanford!” and then give him a sample of the Cheetah dining ritual. >Boom.

America is considered the “melting pot” of the world, because we’re all like… crazy different from one another in at least fifty ways. However, one thing that I think we can all agree on is that STEVE AOKI knows how to put together a podcast that will make you want to start throwing cake at your grandpa and pop bottles of champagne on your college professor, all before white raver rafting the hell out of there. The Aoki’s House podcasts never disappoint, always filled to the very top with the biggest bangers and hottest remixes this side of the moon, and Aoki’s House Podcast #7 is no different.

Bot is of the future. Half man, half-machine; fully Italian. Exiled in West London, locked in the studio since departing legendary duo Crookers, Bot (his creators named him Andrea Fratangelo) has disassembled any expectations and rebuilt his sound for 2018.
SonicC, the young prodigy behind the mind bending “Stickin” is all grown up now. “Hades” takes you on a journey into a devilish banger showcasing his trademark intense buildups and drops. “Pulse” continues the descent into the underworld with an evil bassline and huge buildups that…
Remember the days when dance music was a little chill, a little vibey, a little relaxed? The kind of music that sounded perfect coming from your computer speakers as you stayed up late to do your homework, and just as perfect coming from your car speakers while you cruised your city at dusk?
2012 hit a sad note for Crookers fans when the duo announced that Bot would be going his separate way while Phra carried the Crookers name as a solo venture, and we’ve been waiting ever since to hear something from Bot‘s solo studio sessions. And it looks like the wait is finally over; on April 9th, devoted fans will finally get a sampling of what sort of saucy sounds Bot can make on his own as he releases “Vamos / Go Down” on Dim Mak Records.
This is huge, y’all! Once you’ve heard this track, you’ll be totally salivating for more of what this Italian mega-machine can do. The sounds of “Vamos / Go Down” are completely unlike anything we’ve heard before; it’s like the dance gods took extra special care in forming a talent as refined, energetic, and absolutely unique as Bot’s. The teaser video below is reminiscent of the Saved By the Bell opening credits, but with thunderous beats and super charged layers blazing into your ears over psychedelic visuals. With a video like this, and a breathtaking producer like Bot, this release is going to be one for the history books.

He recently concocted an acid heavy Beatport mix, showcasing some of his favorite sounds. There is no such thing as ordinary in the world of Steve Aoki, especially when it comes time to interview Dim Mak Artists. This fact rings especially true for the 22nd episode of AOKI FILES Miami Edition where Steve talks to Felix Cartal and AutoErotique and tries to get a word in edgewise.
The two Canadian producers, who recently collaborated on the completely insane track “The Alarm”, discuss what it would be like if they did a country-wide tour together (it involves a small hatchback) and who deserves the credit for making the phenomenal “The Alarm” (Felix is pretty sure he deserves all the credit). Felix and Keith both drop some fresh-out-the-oven information about new tracks coming up as, well as upcoming collaborations with other huge names in the game. One thing is for sure, when these two mega-producers get together with an extremely excited Aoki, the outcome is sure to make you do some ball grabbing of your own.
Hailing from London, the trio known as Scanners have spent the past seven years crafting some of the most diverse music out on the market. Having taken the past two years “off” to hone in on their craft, they’re now back and bigger than ever with the release of their LP Love Symmetry. In celebration of this they plan to kick off a Spring Tour, making quite a few stops throughout Germany. If you happen to find yourself in that part of the world, be sure to check out one of their performances. You won’t regret it.
Now that we’re all fully recovered from SXSW and Ultra Music Festival we’d like to share with you raw footage from our Austin Showcase of Will Brennan free styling. If there is anyone in the electro world right now that knows something about making stellar mix tapes and playlists, that person is undoubtedly Billy the Kit. The former host of several radio shows, heading up MTV’s Totally Summer on Tour, and playing nonstop at clubs for years, Billy has the experience to know what it takes to make a slamming Beatport Chart. Featuring other Dim Mak Records releases, such as Steve Aoki and Showtek, as well as a few of his original sounds, Billy The Kit’s chart is jam packed with speaker destroying tracks. Felix Cartal has gone global in a whole new way! The Deichmann Group, a shoe company based out of Germany, has used Felix Cartal’s “Tonight” feat Maja Ivarsson in their spring collection campaign. The campaign video, which you can watch below, shows fashion-forward men and women having crazy good times to the stunningly catchy “Tonight”. This track has crossed over from club favorite to international commercial status; now let’s just hope those shoes can handle the good vibrations of festival season! Glückwünsche, Felix!
I think we need to have a moment of silence, out of respect for the Beatport charts that are getting slayed by Dim Mak artists!
It was only five short days ago when we last heard about SHOWTEK storming the Beatport charts, and now they’re taking it to a whole new level as “Slow Down” sits at the #1 spot on the Electro House Top 100! It’s almost like they knew it would be ironic to name such an impossibly good track “Slow Down” when they have no intentions of doing so.
And that’s not all, folks. Nope. Do not adjust your computer screen even though what you’re about to read may seem highly badass… I assure you that this is real life.
Those filthy DIRTYPHONICS guys have earned the coveted #1 spot on Electro House Top 100 Releases with the gnarly sounds from “IRREVERENCE”. With ten unprecedented and unique tracks, “IRREVERENCE” is a mighty force to reckon with and has taken its rightful spot at the very tippy-top of this chart. Oh, and guess who else is sitting high and mighty on the Electro House Top 100 Releases? It’s SHOWTEK at #5 with their “Crunk/Slow Down” EP!
I’ll tell you what; it does the heart and the ears good to see these hard working and uber talented artists from Dim Mak Records kick so much butt. Keep up the good work Showtek and Dirtyphonics, we’ll keep dancing, and the charts will continue to bow down.
Staying true to their titles of electric innovators, INFECTED MUSHROOM have once again graced us with a dance floor breaking tune. Just released on Dim Mak Records, “Never Mind” has all the wobbly pitches and unexpected (yet brilliant) build ups into high energy drops, guaranteed…
This is the record that will blow up every dancefloor worldwide. This is the record that will rock every mainstage on every festival this year. This is the record that combines electro house mayhem with one of the biggest drops to hit yet! “This Record”,…
Following a veritable slew of chart-topping dubstep releases, blossoming producer MUST DIE! presents with Water Temple an EP that is anthemic, nostalgic, and already beloved by industry insiders. Foremost, the title track pulls at our heartstrings as solidly as it drops…

You can take a listen now as well as grab GTRONIC’s previous release, Sergeant Bass.
After months of speculation, Lollapalooza put all rumors to rest this morning with the release of the 2013 line up. Among the long list of talented artists performing this year, Dim Mak is pleased to be making its way to Grant Park with performances by Steve Aoki, Keys N Krates, and Alvin Risk. If you’re not up to date on their recent releases on Dim Mak I highly suggest you check out Steve Aoki’s “Ooh” featuring Rob Roy, “Treat Me Right” from Keys N Krates, and “Infinity” from Alvin Risk.
3- day passes for the festival are currently sold out, however day passes will go on sale April 3 for $95. You can grab more information on Lollapalooza.com.
The beginning of Irreverence dabbles in intricate melodic piano ambiance that one may expect from a historic four-piece of classically trained French gentlemen – so it’s mildly shocking to know that Dirtyphonics first honed their production skills with metal riffs. After teasing bass fanatics with more than a half-decade spent tempo-shifting club bangers from the Bloody Beetroots (“Warp”) to Benny Benassi (“Electroman”) and Krewella (“Killin’ it”), the collective builds the initial drop of their debut LP across nearly five minutes and two tracks — the classical arrangement of ”Prelude (White)”, and the epic march of “Prelude (Black)” — before finally rewarding fans with a devastating rolling bass release.
Similar to Korn’s The Path of Totality, Irreverence fuses the brutality associated with late-’90s nu-metal and current bass-music. Unlike their predecessors, “Los Angeles”, which features fellow European electro-metal outfit Modestep, and “Walk in the Fire” are an earnest bridge between the sound of their youths toward today’s obsession with bass wobbles and not a feeble attempt to maintain relevancy…

What happens when you pair the chief of Dim Mak Records with one half of Dirtyphonics during Ultra Music Festival? The most recent episode of AOKI FILES, of course! Taking time out of pool parties, stage diving, and epic sets during Ultra, Steve took Charly and Pitchin poolside to talk about their latest release, IRREVERENCE, and the massive Irreverence Tour that kicked off March 27th.
As if the recent release of the game changing album IRREVERENCE wasn’t mind blowing enough, the French quartet kicks off a three month bus tour spanning the United States and Canada, including stops at both weekends of Coachella. Not only will they make it raver-rain with the sensational tracks from IRREVERENCE, they are also revealing brand spankin’ new stage production that is sure to accentuate their already striking, unforgettable sounds.
If you’re looking to have your ear drums blasted and your mind electrified this summer, the IRREVERENCE TOUR is a damn good place to start. Find your city below and prepare in advance to call in to work or school too #dirty to function.
Aaaah, spring time. A time for flowers, soft rain showers, and… GROUND BREAKING ANTHEMS? What?! This ain’t your grandma’s season anymore. Leading the pack of up and coming crowd pumping anthems to be released in the next few months is “This Record” by Jacob Van Hage and Billy the Kit, out on Dim Mak Records on April 2nd.
“This Record” is a heart racing, sweat inducing track that takes what you thought you knew about electro house and mind numbing drops and makes your knowledge look like that of a two year old with a toy piano. We’ve come to expect nothing less than pure music magic from the duo Jacob Van Hage and Billy the Kit, so when these forces combine as they have for “This Record”, the result is sure to be devastating to sound systems for the rest of the year.
Check out a sneak peak of “This Record” and start counting down the days until April 2nd when this scorching track can be yours to bump indefinitely, courtesy of Dim Mak Records.

Veteran producers SHOWTEK are not new to the world of dance music. In fact, for the last thirteen years they have been making music that has garnered high praise and the attention of some of the biggest names in pop music today. 2013 is shaping up to be another exciting year for the Dutch duo as they climb charts with absolutely no intention of slowing down at all.
Earlier this month SHOWTEK released “Slow Down” on Dim Mak Records, and just a few days ago this hyper tune sat at #8 on Beatport’s Top10….but oh what a difference a few days (and unyielding support from fans) can make! As of today, “Slow Down” is now sitting pretty at #2! And for good reason…I mean have you heard this track? It’s fun, it’s alive, it’s energetic, and it’s looking at the #1 spot with fire in its eyes while cracking its knuckles.
This isn’t the first time SHOWTEK have seen some chart love; “Slow Down” is the fifth release from these producing brothers to make it into the Beatport Top 10, and we here at Dim Mak Records are ultra proud to be the home of this latest chart-climbing, epic dance anthem that is sure to be on every playlist/mixtape/countdown for the rest of the year. Listen to the track below and let’s get these guys to #1 all across the board!
