Coone’s premiere single on Dim Mak Records will literally blow all you know, straight out of the water. “Times Gettin’ Hard” is a look inside the mind of an aspiring artist trying to make his way to the top. It’s not easy, but with persistence and drive, the top is but a stone’s throw away.
Longtime friends since their early production days, Tritonal and 7 Skies infuse their melodious and experimental signature sounds into ‘RESET’, a hard-hitting banger that has been supported by everyone from Nicky Romero, Gareth Emery, Cazzette, Hardwell, W&W, and Ferry Corsten.
If you’ve ever been to a Sounds Like Fun event, you know to expect the unexpected and leave with at least one or two less items of clothing by the end of the night. The entire experience becomes one steamy-hot fusion of futuristic hip-hop and electronic sounds, coupled with an energetic, funky crowd vibe.
The brainchild of leading Chicago hip-hop tastemaker Chuck Inglish, founder of The Cool Kids and recent producer for artists such as Mac Miller, Rick Ross, Asher Roth, Casey Veggies, and Curren$y, Sounds Like Fun is an emerging lifestyle brand that is creating a central home for LA’s experimental hip-hop/electronic scene. With past performances from artists like A-Trak, King Chip, Asher Roth, Jesse Marco, King Chip, OG Ron C, Theophilus London, Xaphoon Jones, Yasmin, Fat Tony, Bushwick Bill, and others, Sounds Like Fun is making moves and giving the current, rapidly evolving hip-hop/EDM generation what they want.
Having recently teamed up with the Dim Mak fam to host a monthly event at Dim Mak Studios, Sounds Like Fun has taken the party to a whole new level: it’s literally BLING BLING meets TWERK NATION meets TURN UP meets TRILL AS F*CK. It’s an experience you DON’T want to miss. While it’s all well and good to rattle off a list of accomplishments, sometimes it’s just easier to name-drop. Keys N Krates has toured and played alongside Bassnectar, Skrillex, Kid Cudi, Pretty Lights, Major Lazer, Girl Talk and Zeds Dead in recent years, and received support from notable electronic artists such as Diplo and TNGHT. There’s a smorgasbord of talent in this Toronto-based trio — Dave Matisse on keyboards, Adam Tune on drums and Jr. Flo on turntables — which has been blending electronic and trap music with rap beats since 2008. They played SXSW, Ultra and Wakarusa music festivals, and are getting ready to release their SoLow EP in September. (via USA Today)
Following the explosive release of their Asphyxiation single which reached #1 on Beatport Electronica Top 100, accompanied by the official music video which went viral on several tastemaking sites such as This Song Is Sick, Bro Bible, Hypebeast, and many more…

Nobody does up all night DIRTY like the Dim Mak boys at Beatpatrol Festival 2013. In fact, if we were to rate the content of this video according to tit size, we’d say it’s pretty much THE DOUBLE DEEZ. Witness Tai, Deorro, Datsik, Autoerotique, Angger Dimas, South Central, Dirtyphonics, Proxy, Haezer, and the boss man himself Steve Aoki, as they bring the party to Europe, Dim Mak style, in Part I of our Beatpatrol 2013 series. We’re talking vodka flowing like wine, bottles poppin’, hot girls, fire explosions, crowd-surfing, pulsing lights, heavy beats…in the words of Autoerotique, “EDM man, this is all EDM right here.” Erotic Drunken Mayhem? We’ll let you be the judge! Stay tuned for Beatpatrol Part II as the Dim Mak crew takes their 48-hour European all nighter to the next level!

If there’s one DJ that’s really making a mark on both EDM music and culture right now, it’s Carnage. With DJ support from Tiësto, Avicii, A-Trak, Porter Robinson, and Paul Oakenfold, to name a few, his own “Carnage Presents: INCREDIBLE” radio show on Sirius XM’s Electric Area, and his explosive performance at EDC 2013, Carnage has become an EDM icon – a trance god. In this fourteen minute documentary-style video, Carnage grants us an all-access, VIP backstage pass to his life as he parties on a first-name basis with heavy hitters like Tiesto and Morgan Page, takes his “trill as f*ck” grandma with him to EDC, lays down the beats in front of thousands of people, and describes the exhausting yet surreal journey he’s been on as he continues to, in his own words “do this for the people.” DISCLAIMER: only watch this video if you don’t mind hearing “twerk, turn up, and trill” used in the same sentence. But we know you love it.
With the recent release of His collab “Michael Jordan” with Tony Junior, which has received DJ support from tastemakers such as Martin Solveig who dropped it in his set at Tomorrowland over the weekend, Carnage’s star is rising to the top at an unprecedented speed.

In an industry permeated by genres on top of genres, finding a producer who can seamlessly fit multiple styles into one track is incredibly refreshing. Such is the case with FUNKAGENDA and his release of “Samsara”, a two-track, heavy-hitting single made of unadulterated dance madness…
