Today we’re rolling out Episode No. 007 of the #FreeFridays series with the bass don Will Bailey, and his remix of Joachim Garraud & Alesia’s “Hook.” For those that don’t know, Will Bailey is a recent LA transplant and has quickly absorbed and perfected the Moombahton ways. From the Big Room original, Bailey takes this remix of “Hook” to a downtempo Moombah massive – a fantastic addition to the already stellar “Hook” remix lineup.

We’d like to thank everyone that came out to the Dim Mak Stage at the 5th Annual Sunset Strip Music Festival two weeks ago. If you didn’t get the chance to make it out here is a wrap up of what went down on that glorious Saturday night.
We had our very own Dim Mak stage at the Roxy, featuring sets by some of our favorites including Clockwork, PeaceTreaty, Yung Skeeter and Bones. Along with performances on our stage, Steve Aoki’s headlining set was full of surprises including popping bottles with Lil Jon, girls crowd rafting, and special guest appearances by Travis Barker, Will.I.Am, and Miss Palmer. If that wasn’t enough Steve ended the show by diving into a 2,000 lb cake, dedicated to his 1 million fans on Facebook. We understand this madness sounds too good to be true, so here are a few photos of the madness and we also made sure to post all the pictures of the event on our official Facebook page for all you non-believers at home.

MORE ABOUT JIDAX:
Best friends since childhood, Jide and Axel (thus their collective stage name: Jidax), have taken the club world by storm since being hand picked to take over the turntables at iconic Champs-Elysees club Queen. Playing alongside world renown DJs from Erick Morillo, Axwell, Calvin Harris and Above & Beyond, to Bob Sinclar, AN21, Alesso and Eric Prydz, Jidax has gained its own following of fans who turnout en masse for their magnetic stage presence, distinctive energy and mindblowing DJ sets.
These 21 year-old prodigies have since gained world-wide attention, not only for their unparalleled technique and appeal, but for their production skills. Jidax has had several hits released on Pacha Recordings and Robbie Rivera’s Juicy Mix. Recent productions include “Resistencia” with Steve Aoki on his label, Dim Mak, as well as the recently released “Rainfall” on Pink Star Records that has already been played by David Guetta, Afrojack and Chuckie on heavy rotation, along with many more releases on deck.
Having headlined some of Europe’s greatest stages, from Space Ibiza, MAD Lausanne, and Amnesia France, Queen Paris and many more, Jidax is now hitting the US market at a time when Electronic Dance Music has never been bigger, taking over the turntables at such iconic venues and shows as Electric Daisy, Mansion Miami and Surrender Vegas and many more.
