Today, Los Angeles native and producer/DJ Clockwork releases his Surge EP on Dim Mak Records, two tracks of dynamic melody anchored in the undulating low-end that typifies modern Electro House. With his unapologetic big room aesthetic, the New York City-based performer has gained early support from some of the biggest names in Dance music, from Tiesto, Steve Angello, Laidback Luke, and Dim Mak boss Steve Aoki, just to name a few.
The EP features two hotly anticipated tracks, leading with a soaring top line from Wynter Gordon on the title track “Surge” that is juxtaposed against the hard-edged “Tremor“, a set-closer with early potential to be one of the bigger hands-in-the-air cuts of 2013. Clockwork will deliver the songs in a the context of a live, visceral experience on tour with Congorock this Spring, dates below.
