here is an update between april 16th 2006 on to days before Coachella april 26th, just TEN DAYS but a lot of ACTION....... (it takes a toll putting these up... gonna keep updating them til we get up to date... in the meantime keep checking for more shit to be added...)
so we had a soft soft launch at the standard hotel downtown pool party that sean patrick, myself and diallo put together for a very special UK guest FREE FORM FIVE. I've been djing mylo's remix of "no more conversations" for awhile now and that alone got me excited to see his set and meet the man behind FRee Form Five.
as most standard parties in the day they end up passed out in one of those round water beds or next to the square dance floor by the dj booth. i love summers at the standard downtown. one of the best times last summer were up by that pool. monday april 17th, tsubi jeans and dim mak decided to throw a party at jimmy iovene's private bar tom tom club in santa monica. jimmy asked both of us to put something special together so we did. a bangin' ass party with kids from hollywood, east into silverlake and back all came out to get, of course, free alcohol all night, and some jams by myself and benji madden.

the next day at cinespace april 18th anu from FREE FORM FIVE came and blessed a dj set with two bands on tour SINGLE FRAME & THE ARM performing in the back. in the front room, peanut butter wolf from stones throw brought his crew down and them jeans took over.

while cinespace was rocking, cobrasnake and i went to chicago for three days. three long days.

then we checked out flosstradammus' set
they made all the chicago hipsters take off their clothes, all except their hipster bandanas

our last night, thursday april 20th in chicago was with buddy ruben from golde and his thursday party at funky buddha lounge

We left Chicago, Cobrasnake went to Miami and I had to go up to TORONTO, CANADA to Dj for Random Play.
(pics from toronto coming later) Met up with Jesse and Al-P MSTRKRFT checked out their studio and djed the party. Then woke up a few hours later and flew myself down to Miami for my good buddy and booking agent Kirk Sommer's wedding.

So LA was good, i've honestly had a total of 4 hours of sleep in the last couple days and Sunday was flying to Seattle WAshington to dj at CHOP SUEY.
(pics and movies up soon) I barely come up to Seattle and a lot of buddies, this time they were all not touring so it wAS FUCKING AMAZING seeing everyone. Back to LA next day ready for Cinespace - Tuesday April 25th with an artist from Japan ... Tigarah.

But that tuesday was a FUCKING BUSY Night. Stacking events is tough unless its all within the same block radius.
