Dim Mak made it’s way to Miami for 2013′s WMC/MMW and Ultra Music Festival. Along with Steve Aoki‘s set at UMF, Dim Mak hosted two showcases welcoming two dream come true line ups at Raleigh Hotel and Story.

Upon landing in Miami, we headed straight to the We’re All Friends! Party featuring 8 labels including Mad Decent, WeDIdIt, Smog, and more.

Story nightclub hosted our sold out, “Steve Aoki & Friends: Up All Night” party. Our line up kept the night alive and full of energy with sets from Nervo, Dirtyphonics, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Clockwork, Dan Sena, Felix Cartal, AutoErotique, and Gareth Emery. Along with these sets Calvin Harris and Michael Phelps made their way out for the night to support.

When Steve Aoki teamed up with Angger Dimas and My Name Is Kay, the result was the totally electrifying underground hit “Singularity”. Now we’re back with the “Singularity” remixes provided by Tim Mason, Topher Jones, and Oliver Twizt. The new remixes improve on the already flawless design of a track that was spellbinding all on its own.

Some of the biggest tracks on Dim Mak have been the result of collaborations while on tour including Phat Brahms, Madness, and No Beef. Felix Cartal & Clockwork are keeping the tradition alive with their latest release, “The Fire.”

A year ago, the duo found themselves collaborating on the Different Faces Tour which resulted in the creation of “The Fire”. After perfecting the track the guys then shipped it off to Madame Buttons who tied it together with her feverish vocals.

The production brings out the best of Felix Cartal and Clockwork, combining their talents to produce the ultimate dance track. Just in time for Summer, “The Fire” will be sure to heat up any room with its big house sound and catchy lyrics.

Amongst this years EDC, Las Vegas line up Dim Mak’s very own Clockwork, Datsik, Bloody Beetroots (LIVE), DirtyPhonics (LIVE), Booka Shade, Terravita, Tommy Trash, and Proxy will be taking the stage.  If you’ve ever experienced EDC, Las Vegas then you know first hand the excitement that occurs during the three day festival. This year the 17th annual Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC), Las Vegas, will feature over 500 creators from around the world including musical acts, artists, and theatrical performers to create the ultimate experience. The Boys from Belgium are back and they bring to you the Beatport chart topper, Origin a new edgy anthem from their latest EP released on Dim Mak Records. The dark techno duo Sound of Stereo have been on a revamp rampage, experimenting with new sounds, showcasing their diversity, and creating massive summer feel good tunes that are sure to excite your eardrums.

The success and excitement of Origin inspired Sound of Stereo to team up with Belgian Synthpop band Teddiedrum to create a vocal masterpiece version Origin (One On One). Both tracks can be purchased on Beatport!

This year we started off the 2013 festival season in Austin, Texas during the SXSW festivities for the Dim Mak x Buygore showcase. A few members from our team headed out from LA to the lone star state to help including #Jenks, Bryan (B!) Linares, Alexvnder, and others. Even our good friend NeilFavila.com made it!

The event served as a platform to showcase Dim Mak’s newest and long-term artists from near and far. We rallied in the troops for a roster that included Scanners, AutoErotique, PeaceTreaty, Azari & III, Keys N Krates, Will Brennan, New Ivory. Borgore and the Buygore camp presented Kennedy Jones, Ookay, & an epic Borgore x Carnage dj set. You know this was a party!

The AOKI FILES: MIAMI EDITION episodes are still rolling in, and this latest installment features the genre-hopping Belgium based producers SOUND OF STEREO. Steve goes poolside with the guys to talk about their mystical EP “UNICORN”. You know that a release is going to be damn good when the producers say that this is the product of a sound they’ve wanted to make for a long time, and that is the case with UNICORN. From melodic chillness to clubby bangers, UNICORN is a truly magical collection of songs. Hot on the heels of UNICORN is the very recent release of “ORIGIN”, a two-track EP with heavy heavy drops and intense festival vibes.
