I Wish I

Now defunct, I Wish I was a band from San Diego, California. Eventually, they broke up because their other bands seemed to supercede them in terms of growth and accessibility. Joe spent half of his time writing for both Jejune and I Wish I, Gabe Gamboa started establishing himself in Kill Holiday, June Cate, as well in Impel and as a pro skater, and Jay as a bad ass martial artist that can strike faster blows than 400 Blows. They toured some but mainly around the west coast. The DC modified sounds that created I Wish I lasted till their last recordings which are unreleased and unavailable at this point. Now Joe plays in Love Light Shine, Gabe played in The Landslide (Dim Mak). June still skates and Jay played in The Landslide and still kicks ass.
