This past weekend Labor Day Weekend one of our favorite festivals, Pacific Festival took place at the Newport Dunes Resort and Marina. The day long festival was incredible with an waterfront view, good drinks and an awesome line up.
With three different stages on site the festival featured live performances by headliner Mayer Hawthorne, Mr. LIttle Jeans, Poolside, Yacht, and more. The festival also included DJ Sets by Miami Horror, Moon Boots, Justin Miller, Cosmic Kids, Cassette, and others.
If you didn’t get a chance to make it out, as usual we made sure to take a few snapshots of what took place this weekend.

This past Saturday, Dim Mak and The Well LA hosted the Shady Pool Party up in the beautiful hills of Hollywood (oh soooo cool). The event hosted LA’s hippest party goers, along with some the industry’s most familiar faces. We’d like to thank Red Bull for providing energy, The Cobra Snake and Rony’s Photo Booth for supporting the event, and the beautiful Saturday afternoon that we were blessed with!
Originally, I hadn’t planned on attending EDC – but a few days before the festival, my buddy Ryan gave me a proper pep-talk and convinced me to go, further telling me that “I wouldn’t be coming correct, If I didn’t attend”. It was decided, I was all-in for a bender of a weekend (which undoubtedly laid ahead). I reached out to my buddy Keith (Autoerotique), and sorted out credentials, so that I could bring my camera in without hassle. I’ve photographed numerous shows, gigs, festivals, etc…, but I’ve never been to / shot EDC. Naturally, I wanted to do something different with my photographs. A majority of the EDC photos that surface are typically edited in a similar manner, and shot from 1 or 2 perspectives: on stage (behind the dj) or from the crowd (facing the dj). In an effort to mix things up a bit, I decided to shoot the entire festival with my vintage 35mm film camera, while focusing on everything but the dj’s – more of a documentary approach.
