Steve Aoki twerks it out at the Dim Mak Pool Party with Keys N Krates for episode #26 of Aoki Files *MIAMI EDITION*. There is nothing ordinary about this toronto-based-trio whose sound is just as unique as their music making process. Adam Tune, David Matisse, and Jr. Flo fill Steve in on the live jam that became their masterpiece new single, “Treat Me Right” released on Dim Mak Records.
KNK also explain their traditional band-like production process which gives that “live feel” to all their music and performances.
Following the release of their REMIX ALBUM and razor-sharp performances at this year’s Ultra Music Fest and SXSW, AZARI & III is unleashing their final ‘Remix EP’ off their stellar “Azari & III” full length. The LOST IN TIME EP is out today, featuring the original version of “Lost In Time”, along with 2 celebrated remixes from Finnish house producer/DJ Jori Hulkkonen and Los Angeles techno/house duo VCO.
The original version is centered on lush house beats, and reels through rich percussion, all the while marrying with a gorgeous vox. Jori Hulkkonen delivers a different sonic depth; building with distorted, systemized thumps and gleaming synths. Lastly, VCO gives the “Lost In Time” a solid workout, and the result is a pulsing throng of synths and splattered arpeggios.
Belgian titan GTRONIC drops his first EP of 2013, ‘MORPHEUS & DUFUS’ with 2 new originals, remixes from the likes of MOONBOOTICA, DIRTY DISCO YOUTH, THE SNEEKERS, OSTBLOCKSCHLAMPEN and RUSTY WARRIORS, and a free bonus track “Moticon”. It’s all about crunchy sounds and pulsating baselines.
The first track is homage to the god of dreams, “Morpheus”. This musical demon brings you into a whole new dimension; a perfect balance between uplifting melodies and raw baselines. “Dufus” is a more techno-influenced, bass heavy tune. Its huge pounding drum-kicks accompanied with dirty sub-bass make it irresistible to stand still. And, lastly “Moticon” is an experimental piece of art where emotions collide with rough baselines.

SHOWTEK’s latest single “Slow Down”, released on Dim Mak Records has been killing it on the Beatport charts, easily breaking it’s way into Beatport’s Top10. This genre-crossing tune toys with three different BPMs that are sure to get you on your feet and running to the dance floor.
