If you live in the Los Angeles area, and didn’t make your way to Dim Mak Sunday at Drai’s for RL GRIME yesterday, you definitely missed one hell of a night. RL Grime did what he did best, and had everyone in the building on their feet with his trap set. Along with the great set, Steve Aoki, the man always on tour made a special appearance to show support along with a few other familiar faces. We’d like to thank everyone that was able to come out, and hope to see you all next Sunday for another wild night. If you weren’t able to join us check out our snapshots from the event, courtesy of The Cobrasnake.
With the recent release of the Booka Shade EP, Honeyslave last month, tour dates are now in the mix for the duo beginning in Australia early next year. In their latest feature by In The Mix, the two elaborate on their recent Dim Mak release and what they have in store for the future including a worldwide tour. If you?re not too familiar with Booka Shade this is a great feature to get a glimpse of what the German house duo are about.
I’ve watched this video a few times now and I’m certain he (DMX) is very serious about not knowing how to use Google or a laptop for that matter. I’m so glad Power 105.1 captured this moment and wasn’t scared to post it on the internet for everyone to see (laugh at). His expressions after typing his name and hitting ‘enter’ are classic, right up there with his description of waiting for music to load… I think each time I watch this I get another year younger.
We’re not going to attempt to explain Burning Man to you. Just imagine a bunch of people in the middle of nowhere wearing the worst Halloween costumes ever. If you want to get a taste of the insanity, some dude strapped a camera onto a hula hoop (cause it’s Burning Man and that makes total sense). Check out some of the ladies from this past year, but be forewarned, this is the worst video ever if you have a raging hangover. – Cool Material
In case you’ve been living under a rock and didn’t see the official 2012 Tomorrowland after movie, the video already has 10 millions views in just over a week. The 20-minute video is a perfect glimpse of what took place at Tomorrowland. The video features cameos by Steve Aoki, Annger Dimas, and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike. Along with the cameos you get a sneak peek at our soon to be released track, Phat Brahms, also featured in the video.
Superstars Steve Aoki, Angger Dimas and Iggy Azalea have returned with revamps on their hit anthem “Beat Down,” with remixes from Afrojack and Larry Tee & Attack Attack Attack. Afrojack lends his skills to his standout remix, with heavily distorted vocals and a stripped down pounding beat, while Larry Tee & Attack Attack Attack keep the energy high with a remix ready for the dancefloor.

We recently came across a YouTube video of Avicii’s set from earlier this month at Union Square in San Francisco playing one of our upcoming tracks, Go Deep (Torro Torro Remix) by Wax Motif & Neoteric. Check out the video for a preview of the track and be sure to keep an eye out for the official teaser before its release next month.
This genre smashing remix package plays like the script of Dr. Frankenstein, reforming the best parts of electronic, techno, house and even hardcore into a musical monster the likes of which has never been seen. With sonic co-creators Blatta & Inesha this is one monster that can’t be stopped.
