It’s always a pleasure hosting our Dirtybird homies at #DimMakTuesdays and this Tuesday, November 12th we’re excited to have Dirtybird player and Anabatic Records founder Worthy on the ones and twos as we vibe to the sounds of booty bass, breaks and future house!
“The Worthy sound has always been powerful, rocking, funky, bass-driven music at its best, and for me this is the new wave in house music.” – Carl Cox
“Those hardcore Dirtybird fans rolled in full force…these kids get so passionate about it…this is by far the most exciting show I’ve done here” – Justin Jay after his recent set with Ardalan at #DimMakTuesdays
Grammy nominated artist Kenna drops his music video for “Love is Still Alive”, the second single from his EP series “Imitation Suicide”. The black and white video is sensual and simple with a modern touch of color. Kenna’s sultry voice brings sexy back to the Dim Mak roster and to the music industry itself. Justin Timberlake says “Kenna is what the World needs to hear, they just don’t know it yet”. Kenna’s creation is a genre blurring blend of R&B, funk and electronic that is refreshing and calming to the ears. The entire three part EP series was written, produced and created by Kenna who is already a busy man with his roles as a GAP model, Chief Vision Director of the new Myspace and philanthropist. Kenna was one of many celebrities who was featured on MTV as they climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro in efforts to bring awareness for the global water crisis. Stay tuned for EP part 3 out December 3rd, check out the behind the scenes video, and his sit down interview with Steve Aoki via his Aoki Files series below.

London born, German-based house producer/DJ TAI has joined forces with singer-songwriter Kay to craft an electro anthem for the ages. “The Thrill” prides itself on TAI’s skillful work on a prominent bassline and Kay’s unruly yet fresh vocals. The track’s unceasing stream of electro energy is sure to send an adrenaline rush through any hardcore fan of hard-hitting dance music. Without doubt, TAI has once again brought forth a tune that is nothing but fire.
TAI started the year with two huge tracks: The Bloody Beetroots feat TAI & Bart BMore – “Spank”; and a collaboration with longtime friend and partner in crime TAI & Diplo – “Booty Drop.” He also released a solo EP aptly named TAIland and remixed Peking Duk’s single “The Way You Are.” Most recently, he released the highly acclaimed Nuthin But Fire EP with former Crookers founder BOT on Dim Mak Records.
Keep an eye out for the mega hot official music video!
[info_box_2 title=”ABOUT THE RELEASE”] Ziggy’s new electro, big room banger “Amilo” is set to rock listeners with its persistent vigor and uplifting attitude. The tune has an unstoppable groove that is simply irresistible, sure to sweep anyone off their feet and into a dancing craze. All hands will be raised once this track’s soulful melody and exciting synth lines kick in.
Growing up as a party DJ and a member of several bands has made Ziggy no stranger to working a crowd. Now, Ziggy has earned support from DJs like Afrojack, Martin Solveig, Armin Van Buuren, Thomas Gold, Axwell, Hardwell, Tiësto, and Laidback Luke. Clockwork returns with his latest track “Blitz” on Dim Mak Records, the follow-up to this past summer’s “Surge”. “Blitz” is rambunctious electro house made for the big room. Clockwork’s signature style of electro truly shines during the drop, pounding along to a crowd-hyping rhythm. The build up is one that won’t be easily forgotten, with high pitched synths to get hands held high. Be on the lookout for more from Clockwork in 2014.
“A big and bold electro house jam, Blitz serves as a more-than-fine sequel to last winter’s Surge. The springy lead and powerful drums do justice to the big room vibes and reputation he’s known for while pushing the envelope and not conforming to the endless waves of music of similar vein.”
In mere days from now—November 4 through 9, to be exact—a selection of finalists from around the world will touch down in Toronto for the Red Bull Thre3style World Finals, the globe’s best DJ competition actually geared towards the dancefloor. But it’s not like the Canadian capital needs any talent imported. Many of the DJs/producers currently blowing up the club scene worldwide originate in the T… and you may not even know it.
In this video, Brooklyn-based DJ Jubilee—a Thre3style judge who has played in Canada so many times she’s practically half-maple—visits over 15 of her Toronto-based friends, including Dim Mak superstars Keys N Kratesand Autoerotique, bass dudes Hunter Siegel and Marcus Visionary, techno leading lights Gingy and Alixander III (of Azari & III), and frequent Thre3style performers Grandtheft, Thugli, and Skratch Bastid, among many others. Along the way we discover that the Toronto dance music scene is a fractured but lovable family—most of these producers have worked together, lived together, thrown parties together, or gotten in fights with each other at one point or another, whether they’re deep in the techno game or banging out the hardest trap sounds.
Watch See You in Toronto to find about Torro Torro’s secret love affair with pigs, why Bruce Trail is a wizard, who throws the best afterparties, how Autoerotique gets erotic, and why Hamilton is the darkest place on the planet Earth, among other secrets of the city’s dance music elite.
Belgian jumpstyle and hardstyle producer/musician/DJ and Dim Mak’s first-ever hardstyle artist Coone unleashes his newest single “Zombie Killer” this Halloween (October 31) on Dim Mak Records. The track, featuring rapper Kritikal, is the third single from Coone’s upcoming album Global Dedication. This highly thrilling track is set to send chills down the spines of hardstyle and electronic music fans. “Zombie Killer” offers plenty of monster-themed sound effects and tortured screeching to drive listeners into wild excitement at festival stages around the globe. The raw energy that is persistent in all of Coone’s original productions is taken beyond the grave by New York-based hip-hop artist Kritikal.

Thanks to a pair of magic headphones — and, really, what headphones aren’t? — the two swap places, with Simmons becoming an EDM superstar and Aoki taking over one of Simmons’ workouts. Think Freaky Friday with lots of exercise outfits and choreography.
“Bring You To Life (Transcend) is about bringing people to life, literally,” Aoki says. “It’s a literal expression about letting the music bring you to life. The video is a very fun role swap between myself and the original dance guru Richard Simmons doing what we both do best.”
Aoki and house producer Rune RK released Bring You to Life (Transcend), which features vocals from RAS, earlier this month on Aoki’s Dim Mak Records. Gille Klabin directed the video.
