The truest blues musician from London UK that sounds more like he's from the Mississippi delta than the streets of the most hyped rock capital of the world. And as it is so, Mr. David Viner is a man of many talents, one of which was taking care of rock bands like the Datsuns, the Von Bondies, Soledad Brothers as they came over to tour the UK and Europe. Being discovered on the Kills/Von Bondies tour, Steve Aoki of Dim Mak and Jason Stollsteimer of Von Bondies and Intheact Records decided to push his music to the public, this album is an introduction to "one of the best blues instrumentalists in the world". On this album he is backed by all the members of Soledad Brothers, Carrie and Jason from Von Bondies, and Hotel from The Kills. In the most compelling way, Mr. David Viner is able to howl the ghosts of Mississippi Hurt and Robert Johnson but equally wail like Jonathan Richmond from Modern Lovers or earlier Bob Dylan. This is a pop classic, one filled with eccentricities of earlier blues rennaissance and traditional country manifested in his brilliant guitar playing.
