Remember the days when dance music was a little chill, a little vibey, a little relaxed? The kind of music that sounded perfect coming from your computer speakers as you stayed up late to do your homework, and just as perfect coming from your car speakers while you cruised your city at dusk? It could be played loud, but wasn’t so nuts that your mom would inform you that you’d be deaf by thirty if you didn’t turn that racket down. There’s a fine line between noise for the sake of noise and perfection at its purest, and at Dim Mak Records, we strive to bring you the latter.

That’s exactly the case with the release of “The Wanderer”, brought to your ear holes by Romanthony vs. Kevin McKay. A sound harking back to the early days of dance, but with modern twists and turns that are sure to get you hella amped, “The Wanderer” is a subtle yet undeniably catchy tune that comes packing heat. While the original track is more laid back, the remixes grow increasingly more intense as you go through the EP, and each version of the song showcases a unique turn on an already golden original sound. Turn up the volume, sit back and relax, and let the summer of 2013 roll in on the back of “The Wanderer”.
