Incase you didn’t hear, last night Keys N Krates were forced to cancel their live performance in Hollywood @ Avalon due to a low-life gaining access to their green room and stealing their laptops before they went on. KNK took to Facebook this morning to inform their fans of what happened and inadvertently announce their next single “Understand Why.” However, a little laptop debacle isn’t going to hold them back from doing what they love. This morning they leaped to that #1 spot on Hype Machine with their new track “All The Time (Tove Lo Flip)” which was premiered just a few days ago. Have a listen(above) and be sure to ‘favorite’ it to keep them at the top!
[highlighttext title=”To whom ever stole our laptops. Could ya just collect all and save the ‘understand why’ ableton session and send it to us at firstname.lastname@example.org ? That’s our next single and we worked really hard on that, and it’s be sweet to not have to remake it.. cause we had those kicks and 808s sounding hard as hell. You can keep our passports.” titlesize=”h6″ subtitle=””][/highlighttext]
Our favorite hardstyle artist, and Dim Mak’s first-ever hardstyle signing, Coone just topped the Beatport Hard Dance Top 100 Releases chart with his new album Global Dedication. Available now on Dim Mak Records in conjunction with Coone’s influential hardstyle imprint Dirty Workz, Global Dedication is the future of hardstyle. As the poster boy for the growing North American hardstyle movement, Coone’s mission is to spread hardstyle to the world masses via Global Dedication.

A first for Dim Mak, we have some stellar news to share with the hardstyle community, and the dedicated family of electronic dance music as a whole. We are excited to announce that our first ever hardstyle signee, Coone, has topped the Beatport Hard Dance chart! The Belgian native dropped “Our Fairytale (Theme of Tomorrow 2013)” just under a week ago as a Beatport exclusive, and it has already shot all the way to the top of its respective genre chart.
The second single from his upcoming full-length album Global Dedication, “Our Fairytale (Theme of Tomorrow 2013)” is the official track for Q-Dance video coverage at TomorrowWorld 2013. Featuring the vocals of Chris Madin, Coone himself is excited to spin the track and perform at this year’s inaugural TomorrowWorld event in Chattahoochee. Coone plays on Saturday, September 28th of the Georgia festival, as well as at The Sound of Q-Dance on October 5th, alongside hardstyle contemporaries Noisecontrollers, Wildstylez, Gunz for Hire and more.

Since debuting at #28 on the Beatport Top 100 charts, “No Beef” has quickly climbed to #1. This is the first time Steve Aoki has made it to #1 and will be the first Dim Mak artist to accomplish the feat.
This massive track has been featured in the live sets of Afrojack and Steve Aoki throughout the year but no one could get a hold of a clean mix until last week and since its release, the internet has been buzzing! The single was previously only available on Beatport but is being released on iTunes tomorrow (Tuesday, August 16, 2011)
“No Beef” also hits #3 on Cool Cuts Chart

Zedd’s first single with Dim Mak is officially number one on the Beatport Electro charts after only its second week and number six on the overall charts. After remaining in the top 10 for most of its time on the charts, “Dovregubben” finally climbed to number one. Rollingtuff.com hails Zedd as “one of the most talented, up-and-coming mixologists and producers in 2011.” They added that his “unique style is characterized by wild, melodic build-ups followed by heavy, glitchy drops with a whole lot exciting randomness in between.” Earmilk stated “Dovregubben is more on the dubstep side yet is still catchy and has an electro twist in the mix“. “Dovregubben” has DJs and bloggers alike scrambling to be the first to introduce the record to their fans. Anticipate this being the first of many number one tracks to be released by Zedd with Dim Mak Records.
