… To begin with, Alec Empire has a history with Sony — he’d sued them for copyright infringement after another song was included in a Sony ad without permission, and he settled, still feeling ripped off. Part of his dissatisfaction was hearing his music in a commercial at all.

Now Sony was back in Empire’s life — and asking this time. Empire knew at once what he wanted to do.

“I was actually on the phone and had to slow down my pulse and breathe… so the excitement wouldn’t be audible in my voice.”

Tim Gauthier

The frontman and moniker familiarized by the Occupy Wall Street movement, Anonymous, has frequently attacked Neo-Nazi activists across Europe, trying to remove all web-outlets praising their organization. Earlier this morning, Anonymous successfully hacked their ‘mail-order’ website, sending this message, alongside an Atari Teenage Riot track, to all members linked within their server:

‘Anonymous’ confront alleged police brutality

In CNN’s latest report of ‘Anonymous’, the radical protest group supporting the “Occupy” movement, they’ve featured several new incidents following recent public reactions to the political outcry. This editorial referring to the ‘alleged police brutality’ shows a variety of clips from the Anonymous YouTube network, one featuring Atari Teenage Riots “Black Flags”- a track that has been the soundtrack to their protest since it’s inception. This broadcast has reached the attention of the CNN network, with a national showcase throughout the previous weekend.

With the release of their 3rd viral-video edit, ATARI TEENAGE RIOT is calling all musicians, artists, music fans to SUPPORT WIKILEAKS!

“WikiLeaks is under attack by the big financial services companies , but there are still ways you can beat them.

As a result of exposing U.S. embassies from around the world, five major US financial institutions, VISA, MasterCard, PayPal, Western Union and the Bank of America, have tried to economically strangle WikiLeaks The attack has blocked over 95% of our donations, costing tens of millions of dollars in lost revenue. The attack is entirely political. In fact, in the only formal review to occur, the US Treasury found that there were no lawful grounds to add WikiLeaks to financial blockade .

Your donations are vital to pay for our fight against this and other kinds of censorship, for Wikileaks’ projects, staff, servers and protective infrastructure. We are entirely supported by the general public.” http://shop.wikileaks.org/donate

Be apart of this movement, and donate your own footage to Atari Teenage Riot! Your contribution will be selected for an addition to their next VIRAL VIDEO!
