“WikiLeaks is under attack by the big financial services companies , but there are still ways you can beat them.
As a result of exposing U.S. embassies from around the world, five major US financial institutions, VISA, MasterCard, PayPal, Western Union and the Bank of America, have tried to economically strangle WikiLeaks The attack has blocked over 95% of our donations, costing tens of millions of dollars in lost revenue. The attack is entirely political. In fact, in the only formal review to occur, the US Treasury found that there were no lawful grounds to add WikiLeaks to financial blockade .
Your donations are vital to pay for our fight against this and other kinds of censorship, for Wikileaks’ projects, staff, servers and protective infrastructure. We are entirely supported by the general public.” http://shop.wikileaks.org/donate

With DJs and producers as varied as Fatboy Slim, Steve Aoki and Tony Senghore currently supporting their tracks, Atari Teenage Riot are one of the most exciting names in the scene. Recently released on Dim Mak Records, the’ve reignited their collection with a new album “Is This Hyperreal?”– described as an “acetylene laced documentation of ATR’s re-ignition after an eleven year silence” by NME.com.
Produced, mixed, recorded with Alec Empire, Nic Endo and new ATR member CX Kidtronik (Saul Williams / Nine Inch Nails) at ATR’s fourth studio release was made at the Hellish Vortex studio in Berlin.
As one of the lead singles from “Is This Hyperreal?”, “The Collapse of History” was one of the album’s many highlights. Throwing listeners for a complete curveball where Alec Empire flexes his early 90s hardcore influence by intertwining stadium sized jungle breakbeats with a national anthem. Now ATR, Digitial Harcore and Dim Mak Records have teamed up to offer you the chance to remix this modern classic.
A message from Alec Empire:
“Atari Teenage Riot originated in the techno underground rave scene in the early 90s. DJing was what started the group’s activities. Since then a lot has happened. I keep meeting producers and DJs from all kinds of genres of electronic music who love ATR. The idea is to have the new single spread out to all those different areas and connect them! 🙂 When you remix the new song, do what feels right to you (as opposed to what you think ATR or the label might like).”

As we’re nearing the end of 2011, many magazines, both online and print, are wrapping up their ‘best-of’ nominations for new and noteworthy artists around the world. The acclaimed Artrocker Magazine has released their official nominations list, which included Atari Teenage Riot as “International Band of the Year”.
In a statement, Marc Sallis, Editor of Artrocker said:
“A lot of awards these days are made to fill up time on TV and fill pages in glossy magazines spreads, Artrocker aims to make its first-ever awards about the music, the bands and giving the public a great gig with a line-up that will recall the heady days of The Brats and inject some much needed drunken fun and rock’n’roll back into the industry. The inaugural Artrocker Awards are cutting back the ever-expanding gloss and going for the true spirit of music; there will be no fireworks, stage tricks and countless re-takes, it’s quite simple Rock’n’Roll in its simplest and rawest form.”

“As a musician, an icon of female empowerment and a visual force, Japanese-American electronic musician Nic Endo is in a class of her own. Currently tearing up global stages as the female head of Berlin-based digital hardcore group Atari Teenage Riot, she’s been a main player on the international electronic and noise scenes since the 90s. Aside from her innovations as a producer and performer, she’s earned praise as a social crusader who maintains the pioneering feminist spirit of riot grrrls, whom she says “must define the avant-garde” in music. She’s also the spokesmodel for British beauty brand Illamasqua’s new fragrance, Freak – and, like Illamasqua’s cosmetics, the fragrance revels in contrarian attitudes, celebrating nightime mischief and the notion of experimental personal transformations.”
Rolling Stone spoke with Endo as she tours across Europe and prepares for the release of Atari Teenage Riot’s new single, “The Collapse of History,” out January 23rd on Dim Mak.
