Dim Mak goes south to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, in the next installment of the Up All Night video series. Following the debauchery worldwide, the Up All Night video series documents the Dim Mak lifestyle on the road and across the globe as seen through the eyes of Dim Mak artists and crew as well as founder Steve Aoki.
In this Spring Break special edition of Up All Night, we are joined by bass heads Datsik and Borgore as well as Congorock, Autoerotique, Jerome LOL, Anna Lunoe and more. In the video, Datsik downs the beer and margaritas, Borgore sings a capella, and Autoerotique and Jerome LOL slay the decks.
At Dim Mak, we’ve got the girls, we’ve got the booze, we’ve got the pool parties, we’ve got the floaties. All we need is YOU!
AutoErotique‘s breathtaking new single “Asphyxiation” undoubtedly lives up to it’s name. This pulsating electro track will have you gasping for air but wanting more as you fight back the urge to get up and dance.
No strangers to the production game, the widely inspired Toronto based duo have been behind the scenes producing various genres of music for years before officially joining the dance music community and singing to Dim Mak Records in early 2009. Every track AutoErotique puts out showcases the perfect blend of electro, techno, house, Dutch house, Dutch-colonial house, rave, rock, rave-rock, indie-rock, and even ska inspired elements.
Gladiator, AutoErotique’s first single released on Dim Mak Records in September 2009, received immediate attention from the likes of Steve Aoki, DJ AM, Klever, Larry Tee/Alexander Technique, The Faint, AC Slater, and Milano whom have all remixed the epic track, making AutoErotique a heavyweight name in the EDM scene. AutoErotique has since showed off their ambiguous musical talents with their own remixes for Benny Benassi, Felix Luker, Tiesto, Etienne de Crecy, Joachim Garraud, Sarah McLeod, Lykki Li, Shinichi Osawa, Chris Cornell & Timbaland, Diplo & Laidback Luke, Larry Tee, B. Rich, Disco Bisquits, Fischerspooner and Weezer. A recent collaboration with fellow Dim Mak artist Felix Cartal has given birth to the stellar summer single “The Alarm”, which is scheduled to be released June 6th on Dim Mak Records.
The sexy ass-filled video for “Asphyxiation” will premiere on May 28th and the track will also be available for purchase on iTunes and Beatport.
By now, I’m sure you’ve fallen in love with Felix Cartal and Autoerotique’s “The Alarm”(and if you haven’t, then shame on you). Whether you have or have not, prepare yourself to get stoked all over again because it’s been remixed, giving the already vibrant track three fresh new perspectives. The Erick Rincon 8Ball Bootleg is, in my humble opinion, the most eclectic; it almost has the vibes of a party in Cuba experiencing an air raid. With the Keys N Krates rendition, expect bass for days and the feeling of chills creeping down your fist pumping arms. Different still is the Charlie Darker remix, which lends a throwback early house music experience while maintaining the hyperactivity of the original track. It’s quite an accomplishment to take a piece that is already a mega anthem in its own right and turn it into a whole different work of art, but these three producers did just that and did it remarkably well.

Are you in desperate need for some super sexy .gifs? You may not know it, but the answer is YES, yes you are. And have we got just the thing for you. In honor of the music video for Autoerotique’s “Asphyxiation” reaching #2 on the BeatPort Electronica Chart, we present you with 22 .gifs depicting some of the most stunning dodgeball players in history; girls doing flips and being all around badasses, guys getting hit in their tender bits by dodge balls, and lots of slow motion bouncing. My personal favorite is the shark mascot tearing the head off the bald eagle mascot, but a close second would be the leader of the pack licking her hard-won trophy. Good luck figuring out which one is your top pick, and let us know which you choose in the comments below!
When you produce super hot music under the moniker of AUTOEROTIQUE, you’re bound to get some heated attention; this much is proven by BEATPORT including the new, outrageously sexy music video for Autoerotique’s hit “Asphyxiation” in their TOP 10 EXTREMELY NSFW MUSIC VIDEOS. Toronto duo Autoerotique are back with “Asphyxiation,” out today via Dim Mak Records. The provocative video for the track is also out today, premiering exclusively on BroBible. Directed by Amos LeBlanc, the titillating video for “Asphyxiation” is Autoerotique’s first music video since 2011’s viral hit “Turn Up The Volume.”
Autoerotique carries an infinite smorgasbord of sounds ranging from electro to metal, techno, Dutch house with a dash of indie-rock, and a pinch of ska plus everything in-between and tastefully serves them with every project. Their ambiguous, shape-shifting style boasts eclecticism and innovation.
But in all things Autoerotique, their latest work, Asphyxiation, will be considered their masterpiece. The track and its video counterpart are meticulously executed in a way that should require a precautionary label – grab your inhalers. Everything they were and everything they are breathes in Asphyxiation. From the iconic rises of Bubonic, the rumbling bass of ‘Turn up the Volume’, to the confusing, yet perfectly executed triplet mayhem of EKG – it’s all there in unison. The musically inclined minds of Autoerotique are always persisting to captivate industry buffs and fans alike perpetuating their increasingly global presence.

There is no such thing as ordinary in the world of Steve Aoki, especially when it comes time to interview Dim Mak Artists. This fact rings especially true for the 22nd episode of AOKI FILES Miami Edition where Steve talks to Felix Cartal and AutoErotique and tries to get a word in edgewise.
The two Canadian producers, who recently collaborated on the completely insane track “The Alarm”, discuss what it would be like if they did a country-wide tour together (it involves a small hatchback) and who deserves the credit for making the phenomenal “The Alarm”(Felix is pretty sure he deserves all the credit). Felix and Keith both drop some fresh-out-the-oven information about new tracks coming up as, well as upcoming collaborations with other huge names in the game. One thing is for sure, when these two mega-producers get together with an extremely excited Aoki, the outcome is sure to make you do some ball grabbing of your own.
