The International Dance Music Awards, or IDMA has nominated Dim Mak Records as the “Best American Record Label” for their 27th annual awards show:

THE 27TH ANNUAL IDMA’s:
As one of the most anticipated annual events on the global dance music calendar (and the only longstanding awards event dedicated to the dance and electronic music industry) the IDMAs generate over two million votes from music enthusiasts in 206 countries and territories to honor exceptional achievements in 57 award categories. The awards event is an industry program highlight at the center of the WMC week, one of the most anticipated gatherings on the music industry calendar assembling music professionals, artists, DJs and press from 70 countries. Another unique aspect of the IDMAs is the convergence of industry legends and emerging talent alike. As part of its mission statement to serve as a platform for the advancement of the industry, the IDMAs place particular emphasis on innovative artists and industry. As trends in the industry develop and change, the IDMA’s will continue to serve as an essential platform for career launching appearances.

It’s been an exciting year for Dim Mak and we’re already looking forward to 2012. We celebrated our 15th year anniversary with several vault compilations and an unforgettable party at Dim Mak Studios, embarked on two nationwide tours, unleashed a handful of wild and highly talked-about music videos, and put out more albums & singles that we’re proud of than can be counted on 10 digits alone.
