It’s Friday, shout out to Rebecca Black, and we have something ‘Nasty’ for your ears. Earlier today, our friends over at EARMILK premiered and offered up a FREE download of Autoerotique‘s NYE release of NASTY. So if you’re like the rest of us and you LIKE IT NASTY then we recommend heading over to earmilk.com and grabbing this before all your friends do. We’re giving you the chance to be the cool kid in your circle and debut this track to your friends! #FreeFriday
With over 700 submissions, the Dim Mak x Earmilk x TomorrowWorld DJ Open fueled one of the hottest competitive bonfires in electronic dance music history!
Hundreds of aspiring DJ’s from across the nation put their heart and soul into creating mixes that blew our minds. It would be an understatement to say that choosing a winner was not easy and we appreciate each and every person who submitted. However, after hours of listening to and researching each contestant, it soon became clear to us who the winner should be, based upon the rules and regulations we established from the beginning.
Not only did we pay special attention to the originality, creativity, and diversity of the mix, we also took into consideration the way in which the artist branded themselves to their fans and the hussle and drive they’ve put into making a name for themselves and their music thus far. In the end, we chose a well-rounded winner we believe to be not only extremely talented, but also excellent at strategically and creatively marketing themselves and their music to their audience while differentiating themselves from the competition.
And now, without further adieu, the artist we’ve chosen to open the Dim Mak Up All Night Stage at the first-ever TomorrowWorld 2013 is LA-based producer duo, 2 DEEP:

Being a record label that prides itself in bringing the fans only the best of the best in dance music, Dim Mak Records is dead set on the belief that we have not only dedicated fans, but talented fans as well. There’s nothing we love more than to give y’all the opportunity to show us your skills, be it in the genre of trap/dirty dubstep/90s inspired house/folk-step (that’s a new genre I think I just made up)/etc. Which is why we are stoked to bring you a remix contest with the help of Earmilk and Wavo; the tracks up for remix are from the new and exhilarating Scanners album “Love is Symmetry”. Three stems primed and ready for your musical genius, this contest comes with some major perks: the contest winners will be included with Dim Mak alumns on a Scanners “Love Is Symmetry” remix compilation! If you happen to be equally mind blowing in more than one genre, then do feel free to submit more than one remix and really show us what you’re working with!
