Yolanda Be Cool, fresh off the release of their latest album “Ladies & Mentalmen,” are revitalizing their sound once again with “Sweat Naked (Remixes).” The original track harkens back to ’90s house music with high octane bass and unstoppable energy on every level. The remixes are provided by the likes of Etienne de CrecyOliver TwiztThe Japanese PopstarsHarris Robotis, and Sub Antix, five producers who provide the track with varying degrees of hype and originality. Where one remix sounds like a stadium anthem, another sounds like a club banger, and so it goes for the entire remix lineup Yolanda Be Cool has put together. Each remix manages to stay true to the original sound, which is crunchy and fun, whilst enhancing it with genre-specific tastes. “Sweat Naked (Remixes)”is a true gem that is as sexy as it is smart.

Felix Cartal – Domo

“Domo” in Japanese is a greeting meaning something along the lines of “Well, hello there!” It’s also the title of the new song from Dim Mak recording artist FELIX CARTAL who today celebrates the release of remixes by Étienne de Crécy and Pierce Fulton via Beatport and iTunes. “DOMO” is the second single, following “Don’t Turn On The Lights,” off of FELIX CARTAL’s album DIFFERENT FACES out March 27 on Dim Mak.

Featuring illustration by London-based illustrator Dan Stafford, the general idea for the “DOMO” video was to produce something that really worked with the huge drops and blistering pace of the track. “When Felix and I were talking about what to do for the video we had loads of really complicated ideas about Japan, 90’s club culture and making a short anime cartoon, but we quickly boiled the idea down to a simple visualization of the track with a theme of moving from sense to complete nonsense,” says Stafford. “It all came together as a journey from a hoop-jumping-rat-race to a frenetic weekend mess, all slathered in J-pop color. DOMO!”

Bloody Beetroots and Etienne De Crecy featured in Valentino Rossi x Monster Energy promo

Tim Gauthier

MotoGP World Champion driver, Valentino Rossi and the always-viral Monster Energy teemed up to premiere a 3-car team which featured their all-new WRC Ford Fiesta at the 2011 Monza Rally Show.

“Valentino Rossi and Monster Energy put together a 3 car team and partnered up to shoot VR’s exploits at the wheel of a WRC Fiesta for the 2011 edition of the Monza Rally Show. The MotoGP GOAT doesn’t get a load of time to throw a rally car round with a co-driver barking out calls but let’s face it, he’s got a knack of being super fast on in any kind of race format. Over the course of the weekend, Valentino come a close second (in 2 race formats) to multiple WRC champ Seb Loeb and even beat the ace in the 2 stages he topped. Behind him sat last year’s winner Dindo Capello and WRC great Dani Sordo.”

Within this viral campaign, Monster Energy scored the video with two of our very own artists- Bloody Beetroots and Etienne De Crecy, featuring tracks ‘Rombo’ and ‘Welcome’.
