The party never stops when the Dim Mak crew is on scene. If you thought day 1 in Miami was wild then days 2 and 3 of WMC 2013 were nothing less than savage.
Things got wet and, well, weird as we hosted our highly anticipated Dim Mak Records Pool Party on Day 2. The Raleigh Hotel pool was full of babes in bikinis and dudes ready to dance their faces off. With rousing performances by Steve Aoki, Dzeko & Torres, Dirtyphonics, Laidback Luke, Keys N Krates, Yolanda Be Cool, Borgore & Carnage, Clockwork, and Benny Benassi, just to name a few, the day turned into night and back to day before anyone even realized it happened.
The insanity continued on day 3 as we made our way to the OWSLA Party at Red Bull House where we undoubtedly had our share of fun.
Make sure you stay tuned for “Dim Mak Invades Miami – Part 3” to catch us at Ultra Music Festival.
Hello boys and girls, we hope everything is going splendidly on this most free of Fridays! As the weekend draws so near that you can taste it, we suggest that you treat yo’ self to the new THUGLI remix of Keys N Krates new single “Treat Me Right” – on the house! 😉 You can download the “Treat Me Right” single here, and watch the official video below.
Treat Me Right: an epic trip through space, time, and romance novels. The new video from Keys N Krates’ interprets its own ambiguous request by borrowing from the beautifully rendered (yet often ridiculous) world of vintage romance novel cover art. Spanning everything from Highlander love to superspy ass-kickery, only an origin from deep space can explain Treat Me Right’s evolutionary mysteries.
We all know Keys N Krates play by their own rules when creating their far from ordinary trap inspired beats. Well, we got to spend some rehearsal time with the trio to see just how they make the musical magic happen. The production of their latest single, “Treat Me Right” released on Dim Mak Records, started off as a jam session with Adam Tune on drums, David Matisse playing keys, and Jr. Flow mixing on the turntables. KNK likes to record their music like a traditional band, “jamming it out until something comes out” says Adam. Watch as they rehearse for their live performance of “Treat Me Right”.
Welcome to The Aoki Files. This is a new web series Steve Aoki is doing focusing on all the new Dim Mak artists and their releases. Every week he will interview different artists that have released a new record on Dim Mak Records.
Steve Aoki twerks it out at the Dim Mak Pool Party with Keys N Krates for episode #26 of Aoki Files *MIAMI EDITION*. There is nothing ordinary about this toronto-based-trio whose sound is just as unique as their music making process. Adam Tune, David Matisse, and Jr. Flo fill Steve in on the live jam that became their masterpiece new single, “Treat Me Right” released on Dim Mak Records.
KNK also explain their traditional band-like production process which gives that “live feel” to all their music and performances.

Be sure to have a listen and check out their single “Treat Me Right”, currently listed at No. 35 on Beatport’s Electronica Top 100.
“The track’s hip-hop basses combined with feel-good electronic synth melodies explains why these three dance pioneers should be ‘treated right’ by contemporaries throughout the rest of 2013” – VIBE Magazine
Tune, Matisse and Jr. Flo – or Canadian electronic trio and burgeoning live-act KEYS N KRATES as they’re more widely known to the music world – have today released their latest single ‘TREAT ME RIGHT’ on Steve Aoki’s globallly-celebrated Dim Mak imprint.
The first track to be taken from their forthcoming ‘SOLOW’ EP, ‘Treat Me Right’ was initially premiered across the airwaves on Annie Mac’s taste-making BBC Radio 1 show on 8th February to a truly incredible reception. Since then, the iconic trap-tinged electronic/hip-hop monster has been enjoying hefty support from the online sphere and has become a mainstay in the sets of big hitters such as TNGHT, Diplo, Annie Mac and Salva (to name but a few) over the past few weeks.
Having been recently crowned #1 of Billboard’s official “Next Rising Artists” chart, Keys N Krates are also gearing up for high profile North American LIVE shows at SXSW Festival (Austin, Texas), Blue Martini (Tampa, FL), WMC (Miami, FL) and Blue Martini (Orlando, FL). See below for full list of tour dates.
