The gallery captures everyone who was out celebrating including Steve’s mother, sister and old friends like Kid Cudi and Mike from Linkin Park. See all the photos from before, after and during the show with Steve’s own commentary on the Rolling Stone featured photo gallery.

The video for Just What I Am featuring fellow Cleveland native King Chip, takes us on a top-down joy ride through DTLA to a laid back warehouse party. The raw flicker show style visuals captivate you and bring you along for this slow-mo, cosmic party experience full of red cups, hot babes and of course it wouldn’t be an LA party without Steve Aoki in the DJ booth.

Believe it or not, it has been ten plus years in the making for Steve Aoki’s debut album Wonderland to release. Quite astonishing considering the success he has had with music over the years with this live set tours, and notable works as a DJ and producer. It should be noted though that his new album pulls together a groundbreaking lineup of features that include KiD CuDi, Rivers Cuomo of Weezer, Lil Jon, Travis Barker, LMFAO – all of which he points out are close friends of many years. The Wonderland album is out now and while he has embarked on his North American tour soon making its way to Europe. We met up with the time-tested artist and conversed about his new record, his visions and plans for it… (via HYPETRAK.COM)
Project X is a comedy from producer Todd Phillips (director of Old School and The Hangover). The film hits theaters on March 2, 2012.
“The film follows a high school party that grows to massive size, and eventually gets out of control. Reports out of test screenings have called Project X “the new Superbad” and similar superlatives. Now there is a trailer that suggests that Project X will really be like watching one long high school party.” – /Film
11 months after Kid Cudi first announced that Shia LaBeouf-directed visuals inspired by his Man On The Moon II collaboration with Cage, “Maniac,” were on the way, and nearly five months since the trailer for it hit the ‘net, the short film has finally arrived. It’s no coincidence that the 10-minute clip was released today, though. In true Halloween horror film fashion, “Maniac” follows Cudi and Cage around the city of Detroit as they bring terror to its citizens in full French-speaking, cold-blooded-killing mode. You can watch it above, but you may want to refrain from doing so at work, or as the warning states at the beginning, in front of children. Also, head over to Complex to read an exclusive bonus interview with Cudi about his character in the film and how the project came together. As always, feel free to leave your thoughts below.
