Atari Teenage Riot & KROQ Present an Exclusive Coachella Mix

710 150 Tim Gauthier

As you may know, ATR will be heading to the desert as part of Coachella, set to perform Friday April 13th and 20th. Make sure you make it a point to see them live at Coachella! In the late 90s Atari Teenage Riot (ATR) emerged out of the electronica genre, to subvert all rules of rock and techno music. The seminal band was too radical in its views and statements and simply too loud and noisy to fit in neatly inside any genre. ATR’s records stand as a testament to the years 1992-2000, where anything seemed possible.

DJ Jeremiah Red of KROQ premieres guest mix by Dan Sena

Tim Gauthier

Earlier this morning the infamous Bean, of the Kevin & Bean morning show announced the premiere of Dan Sena’s guestmix on Kroq’s website. Needless to say, for all you fans of the morning show, I’m sure you can share in our excitement;

“Its been about 5 or 6 years since I was standing in line for Banana Split Sundays at LAX or Dim Mak Tuesdays at Cinespace to catch a Steve Aoki or DJ AM Set. These partys had a roster of the biggest names in EDM throwing down records for a 100 person room packed wall to wall. One of my favorite and most talented artists I became a fan of during the era was DJ/Producer Dan Sena.

When I was told that we got Dan to do a mix for Soundwaves & Crossfades, I was stoked!” ~DJ Jeremiah Red

Atari Teenage Riot ‘Blood In My Eyes’ featured on Rodney on the Roq’s playlist! Time for Nic Endo to put focus on the main message of the song. She filmed this a few days ago.

His show “Rodney on the Roq” has been on the air for over 35 years, developing him a reputation as Los Angeles’ kingmaker of up-and-coming bands. As one of the only radio disc jockeys to ever support the Punk/Rock/New Wave scene, Rodney has impacted mainstream music and molded it into what it is today.
