London-native alternative geniuses Scanners have unveiled the new music video for their track “Charmed Life” from their album Love Is Symmetry, released earlier this year on Dim Mak Records.
The haunting and unforgettable “Charmed Life” is a versatile track that perfectly sets the mood for a serene sunset car ride. Simple yet eerie, the “Charmed Life” video features a close-up shot of vocalist Sarah Daly shot through grainy and beautifully filtered cinematography. The video is sprinkled with scenic shots, images of the band performing live in a living room setting, and a whirlwind spin featuring each of the band members.
Scanners have been part of the Dim Mak family since 2006 with the release of their album Violence Is Golden. They have also released a number of projects on Dim Mak Records, including Submarine (2010) and their latest Love Is Symmetry (2013) along with several singles and remix pacakges.

NEW IVORY has premiered their official music video for “Youth And Old Age” from their new ‘Nothing’ EP. The video pays homage to classic teen movies with a warped and modern twist. NEW IVORY performs at a house party full of beautiful girls, rugged boys, booze, moshing, and crazy party antics. What’s better than that? Nothing. ‘Nothing’ EP, that is. NEW IVORY brings back your youth with four tracks of grinding, writhing indie rock that’s reminiscent of the early 90s, but with far more heart and better style. So go get ‘Nothing,’ out now on Dim Mak Records. Follow NEW IVORY as they continue to make music that will ensure their place on the throne of musical geniuses for years to come.
Steve Aoki star students Botnek are back with a new video for “Through The Night,” their first single since last year’s spicily-titled Sriracha & Beer EP. Think of the two dudes, Erick Muise and Gordon Huntley, as Montreal’s version of Crookers (you know, while there were still two of them)—two party maestros who love emotional piano breakdowns, double fisting beers, and helping you have a TOTALLY EPIC time.
Fittingly, the video chronicles one long night out with the boys as they tumble from their studio to the center stage of a club filled with unicorn heads and hot chicks, before ending up at a groupie-packed after-party with even more hot chicks. Two themes persist throughout their perilous odyssey: getting wasted and awkward dancing. (via THUMP)
Dim Mak allstar Clockwork has just provided us a stellar video to go along with his uplifting and hard-hitting anthem “Surge,” which features some sweet vocals from Wynter Gordon. This track was one of the huge anthems of 2013 and if you made it out to any major festivals over the last six months you probably heard it dropped and perhaps even did a little fist-pumping to one of the track’s bleepy drops. The video echoes the high-energy nature of the track and features everything from friends running through the forest to electrified zombies dancing on some sort of post-apocalyptic beach. Points for creativity on this one… (via THUMP)
Toronto duo Autoerotique are back with “Asphyxiation,” out today via Dim Mak Records. The provocative video for the track is also out today, premiering exclusively on BroBible. Directed by Amos LeBlanc, the titillating video for “Asphyxiation” is Autoerotique’s first music video since 2011’s viral hit “Turn Up The Volume.”
Autoerotique carries an infinite smorgasbord of sounds ranging from electro to metal, techno, Dutch house with a dash of indie-rock, and a pinch of ska plus everything in-between and tastefully serves them with every project. Their ambiguous, shape-shifting style boasts eclecticism and innovation.
But in all things Autoerotique, their latest work, Asphyxiation, will be considered their masterpiece. The track and its video counterpart are meticulously executed in a way that should require a precautionary label – grab your inhalers. Everything they were and everything they are breathes in Asphyxiation. From the iconic rises of Bubonic, the rumbling bass of ‘Turn up the Volume’, to the confusing, yet perfectly executed triplet mayhem of EKG – it’s all there in unison. The musically inclined minds of Autoerotique are always persisting to captivate industry buffs and fans alike perpetuating their increasingly global presence.

If the release of their astounding EP “CRUNK/SLOW DOWN” left you clamoring for more, then today is like the best day of your life. The video for “SLOW DOWN” is live and is the perfect remedy for those of us anxious for festival season to rev up. After picking up their relationship with Dim Mak earlier this year releasing the “Unicorn” EP, Sound of Stereo is back with a new EP to hit the summer season!
Taking the next step in showing their diversity, Sound of Stereo is coming with a new 2 track EP called “ORIGIN/TERMINAL”
ORIGIN was created during one of the rehearsals of Sound of Stereo’s liveshow, which they preformed during 2012. With an edgy moog sound and a catchy melody, the track stood out in the live set ever since the first time it’s been played. It worked so well that the track was regulary used as an encore and people left humming the lead melody.
But it didn’t end there, they wanted to take the track to the next level. so they teamed up with with the guys from Teddiedrum, an infamous Belgian Synthpop band extraordinair band to create an great vocal version of ORIGIN (ONE ON ONE)
TERMINAL is a big summer feelgood track with a great melody and a strong drop. Made to hit the sun overflown festival stages tested and tuned for effectivity and instant feel good!

So when did Sofia Coppola start making short films with intense dance music as the soundtrack? Oh wait… she didn’t, Tom Willems did. It’s the new Sound of Stereo (ft. Teddiedrum) music video, “Origin (One on One)”! For four minutes and fifteen seconds, I found myself sitting on the edge of my couch with emotions running at a fever pitch, a burst of laughter, and one hell of a track to help me dance the anxiety of what I was seeing away. Seriously, this music video is like an entire movie crammed into four minutes and the song itself is intoxicating and peaceful at the same time, which is not easy to do; this track could be perfect for studying to or dancing your heart out to at the club.
