Video Premiere: New Ivory – A Knight (Acoustic Version) “London Riots”

Tim Gauthier

As many stood watch, the Sony DADC plant in Einfield, London was torched in the London riots, destroying all counts of inventory for surrounding artists and labels. Due to the severity of this disaster, many faced financial difficulties in having replacement stock manufactured. In support of the UK music scene, New Ivory, amongst others, have formed a charitable venture “Record Label Love” to help restore the PIAS-distributed independent record labels who were affected by the disaster. To help raise awareness, they have released a new video and acoustic version to their single “A Knight”, viewed above.

New Ivory – “A Knight” (Official Video)

Tim Gauthier

Check out the debut video “A Knight” from Dim Mak’s own New Ivory. Formerly known as “Leggins,” this London based “new wave, psychedelic, pop” act is a breathe of fresh air though their sound is reminiscent of the pioneers of a Rock and Roll genre that is currently battling Hip Hop, Electro, and Country for space on the charts. Though still very new on the scene, New Ivory might be the band to change that.
