Watch Joachim Garraud & Alesia’s Music Video for “Hook”

Tim Gauthier

The culminating months of 2011 saw Joachim Garraud hunkered down in his Paris studio with freshly discovered production trio, Alesia. Amidst his global tour schedule, Joachim collaborated with his three fellow Frenchmen on a ‘made-for-the-dancefloor’ release, debuting a new aural direction from Joachim – seamlessly blending Electro, Techno, Progressive House, and Dubstep.

‘Hook,’ the first single off of the upcoming Hillside West EP, is a perfect dichotomy of a House anthem married with snarling bass never heard on any other Joachim Garraud production.

‘Hook’ has been introduced with a brand new video, featuring Joachim and the entire Alesia crew. The video starts from their studio in France, from the inception of the track carrying through it’s introduction on the dance floor. Watch as their antics take hold of the city streets to several sold out shows across the country.

Watch Steve Aoki’s Latest Video “Heartbreaker” On MTV!

Tim Gauthier

Steve Aoki’s “Heartbreaker”, the third video off his latest full-length album Wonderland, is now available to watch on MTV and MTV.com!

With the MTV Woodies around the corner, MTV is in full swing with all things Aoki-related; starting with the premiere of his brand-new video “Heartbreaker,” featuring Brazilian singer Lovefoxxx. Guest DJ Danny Masterson is on the ones and twos as Lovefoxxx takes us back to the ’70s — it’s roller-skating time, y’all. Lovefoxxx seduces a few grimy-looking dudes at a trippy roller rink with a glowing neon heart radiating from her chest. But in the end it’s Steve Aoki’s soupy black heart that rests in his chest that she wants. (That’s always my problem, too.) Lovefoxxx sings over a light electro beat, “Would you let me be your heartbreaker?” Cue the big streamer party — everyone lives happily ever after. (Again, Los Angeles.)

Don’t miss Steve Aoki when he performs at the mtvU Woodie Awards March 18 on MTV and mtvU, watch his “Heart Breaker” video featuring Lovefoxxx.

New Ivory – “A Knight” (Official Video)

Tim Gauthier

Check out the debut video “A Knight” from Dim Mak’s own New Ivory. Formerly known as “Leggins,” this London based “new wave, psychedelic, pop” act is a breathe of fresh air though their sound is reminiscent of the pioneers of a Rock and Roll genre that is currently battling Hip Hop, Electro, and Country for space on the charts. Though still very new on the scene, New Ivory might be the band to change that.
