According to Yahoo News, Austin Chapman, 23 year old filmmaker was born deaf and was never able to hear music in its full clarity through his old hearing aid. Earlier this month, Chapman switched hearing aids allowing him to hear music to its fullest potential and forever changing his life.
Chapman shared his experience about his recent visit to Dim Mak Studios for Penguin Prison‘s DJ set stating, “The bass was so heavy I felt it vibrating in my nose and lungs. It was such a rapturous experience, outmated only by the first time hearing music. I literally could not stop myself from dancing and thumping to the beat.”
Dim Mak is honored and would like to personally thank Austin for allowing us to be apart of his new found musical experience.
