Scanners has been kicking around Camden for eight years now, perfecting a laser-fried blend of dance-punk and leaving beer-soaked UK club nights in their wake. According to our analytics, you’re from the States, so you’re forgiven if you haven’t been keeping up with them. They’ve kept a low profile over the past few years, but are slated to release a new LP for Dim Mak, entitled Love Symmetry, later in the year.

Scanners – State of Wonder (Official Video & SXSW 2013 Showcasing Artist)

Scanners return with their slow burning epic ‘State of Wonder’. A beautiful hymn to the river that runs past their home in East London, the river Lea.

The video was filmed on the river in the fall. Scanners commandeering their friends canal boat for the job. The film, shot by Amer chadha patel, flows gently with the music till its uplifting climax.

As a part of our 12 Days Of Dim Mak Christmas we’re giving away and premiering the video for “State of Wonder,” an exclusive track off their upcoming album Love Symmetry. This track is one of the slower paced songs off the album, however it’s also one of the more powerful ones.

Art Rocker Review of Scanners at Scala

If you live in Europe you may have recognized the Scanners song Raw, playing in the background of the JeansOnline commercial. The song was featured in their latest Spring/Summer 2012 which serves the UK, Holland, and Germany with leading brands in the fashion industry through their online store.
