Project X is a comedy from producer Todd Phillips (director of Old School and The Hangover). The film hits theaters on March 2, 2012.
“The film follows a high school party that grows to massive size, and eventually gets out of control. Reports out of test screenings have called Project X “the new Superbad” and similar superlatives. Now there is a trailer that suggests that Project X will really be like watching one long high school party.” – /Film

Fans are still submitting their videos for the Atari Teenage Riot viral video of the new single “Black Flags.” We now have the second version which includes cameo appearances by Steve Aoki and Boots Riley, along with more clips from Occupy Wallstreet, 99%, and a new exclusive message at the end from Anonymous.
Lets keep this movement going! Watch and forward to your colleagues and clients.
Message from Atari Teenage Riot:
“Atari Teenage Riot wants YOU to be in their viral video for “Black Flags.”
If you want to be in the video and show that you support the ideals mentioned above, please send us the following footage:
· Take your mobile phone, webcam or any other camera and film yourself lip-synching the song http://soundcloud.com/alec_empire/atari-teenage-riot-black-flags
· Have a black flag in the background, or hold it while you’re lip-syncing. (The black flag motif will link all images together. If you don’t have one to hand, use a black T-shirt, pull it inside out, stick the arms into it…there you go.)
· You can choose any location for it. If you want to do it at home, great. If you know a crazy location, do it there. (In front of your school or university? At a shopping mall? With your friends at a party?)
· We will use fragments of all videos, which are sent in and ultimately add all of you to the official video.
· If you want to support the idea but want to do so anonymously, you can cover your face. No problem.

Steve Aoki recently sat down with the guys at Pulse SF to discuss the current electronic music movement in San Francisco, as well as our weekly-event Obey The Kitty, held every Wednesday in the heart of the Bay Area. Here’s what they had to say:
“Steve Aoki has become one of the most talked about DJ’s and producers in electronic music today, and will release his newest album Wonderland on December 20th. But what some don’t know is that Aoki has run his own record label Dim Mak for the past 15 years exposing bands and Djs like Bloc Party, The Kills, and many more to the world. One of Dim Mak’s newest ventures is a weekly party on Wednesday’s at Vessel called Obey the Kitty featuring international artists from across the globe. SF Station chatted with Aoki about all of this and more in an exclusive interview.”
Check out the complete article and interview here.
For those in the area, you can check on complete event details and ticket information at Vessel SF/Obey The Kitty.
Throughout the course of the night, Dim Mak was greeted with the wild presence of The Urban Nomad, one of Red Bulls favored interviewers and videographers. He and his crew managed to add another spotlight to the streets of Los Angeles, showcasing our very own 15th Anniversary Party. With the performances of Alvin Risk, Rob Roy, Dan Sena, Felix, Cartal, and an interview with Steve Aoki, this segment really captured the feel of this memorable night.
During the 2-day North Coast Music Festival, Fatboy Slim closed out the night with his mashup of Steve Aoki and Sidney Samson’s “Wake Up Call” entitled “Wake Up Call No Boho”. Check out the YouTube clip here.
A sincere thanks is in order to everyone who came out and helped celebrate our 15th year anniversary! We couldn’t have made this night as special without your support.
To recap the event in its proper fashion, we’ve included a ‘best of’, featuring some memorable moments with photos by the Cobrasnake and CxC, including live video feeds from each artist, presented by StickAm.
