Following their recent North American invasion, Toronto electronic group AZARI & III return with the release of their REMIX ALBUM out February 26 via Dim Mak Records. The REMIX ALBUM consists of some of the best AZARI & III remixes by today’s leading producers in the underground electronic movement. The compilation features classic AZARI & III remixes—including “Reckless (With Your Love)” (Tiga’s What Iz House Muzik? Remix), “Hungry for the Power” (Jamie Jones Ridge Street Remix) and “Into the Night” (Nicolas Jaar Remix)—as well as several rarities like “Manhooker” (Locked Groove’s Escape To NYC Remix) and “Indigo” (Voyeur Remix) and many other gems. Available for the first time in a single collection, the REMIX ALBUM gathers the premier AZARI & III remixes around for an elite anthology of electronic music production.

The REMIX ALBUM runs the gamut of EDM subgenres and sonic moods from the polished disco of “Into The Night” (Prince Language Remix), the tortured “Hungry For The Power” (Sei A Remix), the future synth assault of “Manic” (Disclosure Remix), the funk-fueled bass of “Hungry For The Power” (Art Department Remix) and many more. The REMIX ALBUM is the ultimate set of celebrated and rare AZARI & III remixes for fans and new listeners alike.

Dangerous Dan – “Hit It”

DANGEROUS DAN by Tiga, founder of Turbo Recordings
My man has achieved a whole lot achievements in his relatively short life, by that I mean he as done a LOT in not so long, enough to make even ME tired. I would call Dan an all-round rad guy.

He is –
Beni’s brother, 1/2 of Ksubi, 1/4 of Bang Gang, a full time lover of Bambi man and non-stop guy. He’s also now working on a lifestyle website and series of parties and mix CDs with his other DJ partner Black Angus (of Sneaky Sound System fame) called “You Only Live Once”. He is one busy mofo.

As a DJ nothing much has changed since I took him under my wing and invited him to tour with me for the release of my album ‘Sexor’. Whether playing late night club sets of underground house and jacking disco to 300 people, or banging techno/mainroom/dance whatever you call that stuff to 8000 people at festivals, whatever the time, whatever the occasion, Dangerous Dan is the all time party rocker… full stop. He makes people dance (and he can dance quite well himself). He is also a great dude to have around. If I had the choice I would change his name to #1 Dangerous Dan. He laughs at this but I’m for real.

As a producer Dan has surprisingly nailed it 3 times in a row now, first with AROUND THE WORLD AGAIN, next with The RITZ, now with HIT IT, my man can make tunes too ! And tunes that people respond too. Im telling you that Dan has not even started yet, so watch this space.
