After several months of patient waiting, fans of the three-piece live electronic sensation known as Keys N Krates are about to be rewarded by Every Nite, the fresh new EP from the Canadian musical masterminds. Still flying high off the success of their undeniably catchy hit “Dum Dee Dum,” Keys N Krates are ready to launch into the next phase of their journey with this 6 track offering, which aptly demonstrates their evolution as a band, as well as their loyalty to the unique fusion of hip-hop and electronic music that they’re known for. Set for release on September 23 on Dim Mak Records, Every Nite displays the seamless blend and complementary juxtaposition between the drums, keys, turntables, and live sampling that so clearly distinguishes Keys N Krates.

1. Understand Why
3. Are We Faded
4. Yes We Faded
5. Your Love
6. She’s So High
Ahead of the EP, Keys N Krates are presenting the first single “Are We Faded,” which is set for release August 26. About “Are We Faded,” Billboard says, “The new single, ‘Are We Faded,’ is dizzyingly sexy, pushing along at a slower tempo that’s ideal for sweaty, middle-of-the-dance-pit grooving. It’s carried by choppy female vocals that bounce around in tandem with the synths, vanishing every once in a while to let a low voice chime ‘f-f-faded.’”
Keys N Krates have celebrated recent success with “Dum Dee Dum” (off their SOLOW EP) nearing the 100k downloads sold mark (99,659 as of July 30), and with the accompanying video amassing more than 2.2 million views on YouTube. Other recent achievements include the Tove Lo flip of “Habits” into “All The Time,” which has collected over 5 million Soundcloud plays, as well as the entirety of their acclaimed SOLOW EP, including “Treat Me Right,” which shot to #1 on Hype Machine, received instantaneous support from figureheads such as Diplo and Flosstradamus and was debuted by Annie Mac in the UK. They have also been featured on some of the biggest and best festival stages around the world including HARD in Los Angeles, Voodoo Festival in New Orleans, and Lollapalooza in Chicago, with USA Today singling them out as emerging artists to catch.
In celebration of the Every Nite EP, Keys N Krates are embarking on a massive fall tour, co-headlining with Gladiator and with support from Thugli, that will take them across the expanse of North America. Aside from their noteworthy talent as producers and studio musicians, Keys N Krates truly set themselves apart by their performances, where they bring their live electronic instrumentation to the stage together as a band. With stops in Los Angeles, Denver, Boston, Philadelphia, Phoenix, and countless more, Keys N Krates are canvassing the continent making sure no fan gets left behind.
Loudpvck & Gladiator‘s new track “Tony” is set for release on Ultra Music August 12, following Gladiator‘s collaboration with A-Trak, a remix of Foster the People’s “Best Friend.” Also Joining Keys N Krates on the tour are fellow Torontonians, Thugli. Loved by Diplo, A-Trak, Flosstradamus and Bauuer for their distinctive sound, described as a hybrid of dirty south rap combined with a love of melodic builds and heavy synth, Thugli will be releasing their debut EP this fall, and their remix of Diplo & GTA‘s track “Boy Oh Boy” features on Diplo‘s new album.
Will Brennan and Harlem’s Austin Millz release a video for their west coast inspired collab, “Get Up And Go.” The video contains footage from the duo’s “Bridge The Gap” tour with SL Jones as well as studio sessions and behind-the-scenes clips from a busy first year with Dim Mak for Will. Towards the end of the visual we get a look at some candid footage of Steve Aoki teaching Will how to do a backflip and stage dive.

The trio is bringing a never before seen blend of electronic bangers and hip hop for the most diverse thing to hit the dance music circuit. As he prepares to hit the road once again this fall, Grammy-nominated international producer/DJ and electronic dance music entrepreneur STEVE AOKI has announced additional support acts for his upcoming Aokify America Tour. For the tour, AOKI has drafted an elite group of artists from the DIM MAK roster—the independent record label, events and lifestyle company, and apparel line he founded in 1996 and presenting partner of the tour—including Felix Cartal, Autoerotique, Dirtyphonics, Keys N Krates, Garmiani, Deorro, Rune RK, and Botnek as well as a new, specially designed production from performer Kryoman entitled HEX3D. Already featuring a stellar lineup with bass “Legend” Borgore and hip-hop heavyweight Waka Flocka Flame as direct support, with special guest Pharrell Williams (The Neptunes/N.E.R.D.) appearing on select dates, the Aokify America Tour stands as one of the highlights on this year’s touring circuit. Tickets for the Aokify America Tour are on sale now: aokifyamerica.com.
The newly confirmed rotating talent on the Aokify America Tour adds a diverse array of artists spanning a wide spectrum of electronic music styles. Coming off his most successful release to date with the Past, Present, Felix EP on Dim Mak Records—praised by ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT and BILLBOARD.COM, who called featured track “New Scene” “one of the best dance recordings of the year”—Felix Cartal brings his signature electro house sounds. Toronto-based electro producer Autoerotique adds a heavier sound to the mix, best exemplified on the latest track“Play It Again” and the recent Asphyxiation (Remixes) EP, both out now on Dim Mak Records. Featured on AOKI’s Deadmeat Tour in 2012, French electronic dance music quartet DIRTYPHONICS return with their trademark heavy bass heard on their debut full-length album Irreverence and the corresponding No Stopping Us (Remixes) EP, both available now on Dim Mak Records. Dubbed “EDM’s hottest live band” by BILLBOARD.COM and featured by USA Today, Toronto-based live electronic outfit Keys N Krates recently released their SOLOW EP on Dim Mak Records, which highlights their trap-tinged electronic/hip-hop hybrid sound. Also featured on the tour are producers Garmiani, Deorro, house/techno artist Rune RK, and production/DJ duo Botnek. Additionally, performer Kryoman introduces his innovative production setup HEX3D on the Aokify America Tour, which pushes the boundaries of live, audiovisual performance art.
The new talent is not the only major tour announcement being made though. A proponent of pro-social causes and a philanthropist in his own right, AOKI’s Steve Aoki Charitable Fund is donating a dollar for every ticket sold throughout the tour to a charity selected by his fans via Facebook. Furthermore, for every year AOKI has been alive, he will match a corresponding $1,000 for a total of $36,000 on the tour. Fans will be encouraged to vote for their chosen charity from a group of four pre-selected organizations, including: American Brain Foundation, committed to curing brain disease; University of Rochester – Memory Care Program, providing diagnosis, treatment, and care of neurodegenerative conditions that affect the elderly and the aging nervous system; Brain Preservation Foundation, evaluating “plastination” and “cryonics,” two ways doctors might inexpensively preserve the brain of a dying person; and Infusio, pushing the fusion of cutting-edge science and the newest developments in complementary medicine placed in a spa-like healing environment. Fans can vote via a dedicated poll on STEVE AOKI’s official Facebook page (www.facebook.com/Steve.Aoki) starting October 9 through November 23. Following the tour, AOKI will hand deliver the check to the chosen charity. For more information, visit: www.steveaokifund.com.
Meanwhile, STEVE AOKI is dominating the music world with the massive Linkin Parkcollaboration “A Light That Never Comes,” out now on Warner Bros. Records, and“Boneless,” a collaboration with Chris Lake and Tujamo (Ultra Music), which hit #1on Beatport.

“Walk In The Fire” is metal/drum & bass track which combines the best of two worlds. “Walk in the Fire” kicks off with a guttural guitar grind before coalescing into an electro dubstep break fueled by screams and wild production. Setting the dance floor ablaze like never before, it injects a healthy helping of heavy metal intensity into a drum n’ bass dubstep monster that claws right out of the box. This pure and raw track consists full of energy which will give you a boost for the entire day and night. It will both satisfy the metal- and dub-heads out there, so if you have a friend that’s not fully convinced of the power of electronic music, this track might give them the little boost they need. Schoolboy comes with a Knife Party-like electro remix and Culprate makes an intense dubstep version out of it.
The EP release is the latest release before their long-awaited Full Length “Irreverrence” comes out on Dim Mak Records on March 19th.
Following the release of “Irreverence”, Dirtyphonics will embark on their North American “Irreverence Tour.” Launching March 27 in Vancouver, the 30+ date tour will take them through many major markets as well as anticipated performances at this year’s Coachella where they will perform both weekends Sunday, April 14 and Sunday, April 21. With Revolvr’s upcoming release of Machine with Lea Luna on November 27, we’d like to welcome him to the Dim Mak family. In support of the release, Revolvr has been touring through out the U.S. with four stops left in San Francisco, Houston, San Diego, and Boulder, CO. Known for…
South Central are the certified badboys of the Bass Music scene. Having toured with The Prodigy and Pendulum, remixed DJ Fresh, Nero and Drumsound & Bassline Smith, and had their music hammered by Knife Party, Kill The Noise and Mistajam, they are rightfully held as one of the most unruly and uncompromising production outfits on the planet. Their last EP had dance floors shaking across the globe with an infectious combination of electro, rock and dubstep – a sound the duo have dubbed Rocktronica.
The ‘Hollywood’ EP promises to be even bigger, bolder and brasher. Overflowing with bass-fuelled energy and a “fuck it” attitude, it’s the perfect combination for release on Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak Recordings. The titles indicate exactly where the listener is heading, with the brutal universe slaying riffs present on ‘Star Wars’ indicative of the cinematic approach to the production.
An apocalyptic intro utilises the voice of Jeff Fairchild, renowned for his work on movie trailer voiceovers, before unleashing a monstrous drop. It’s then interspersed with a flurry of panoramic snippets of film score aping moments – think what would happen if Justice, Rusko and Pendulum suddenly wrestled sound-tracking duties to the latest blockbuster from John Williams.
‘Jaw Drop’ sees the duo facing off against the vocals of lead singer of The Blackout, Sean Smith, pitting the punk’s shrieks against a relentless and warped jackhammer synth. Things continue in the savage vein on ‘Armageddon’, which although again an exercise in ear drum shattering sonics manages to somehow retain a funky allure throughout.
‘Bass Monster’ pares the vibe back slightly from the off but the pause is temporary, the slower build swiftly incorporating a siren before exploding into action. This is powerful bass music designed to leave nightclubs, festival tents and warehouses reeling from South Central’s killer blows.
The duo’s words sum up the approach for the EP perfectly: “We wanted to write a batch of trax that when you hear ’em in a festival or in a club it reminds you of the thrill you get when you see epic movies, like with the intro for star wars. We want to recreate that in our DJ sets as well; this full on experience of sound.”
This relentless mandate sees them take an eighteen date tour across the globe this autumn, celebrating the EP across nine different countries. There are also two dates slotted in supporting chart topping sensation DJ Fresh on his live tour, further augmenting South Central’s reputation as rave troubadours of the highest calibre.
The dates will showcase their ability to weld stadium slaying sonics to their uncompromising musical stance, an aesthetic grounded in the realities of today’s thirsty bass hedonists looking for the next aural rush. The Hollywood EP is evidence that, right now, few are better placed to deliver it than South Central.
See them on tour, setting their paces towards Hollywood, with a 16+ stop European tour with DJ Fresh and special guests…

It’s official – Dim Mak Records signs Azari & III for the release of their North American debut album “Azari & III” – Out October 30th.
“Wonderfully dark, paranoid vision of electro pop.”
–Dazed & Confused
“Azari & III are the dance band of 2011” –Mixmag
“The best house music album on the year” –NME
“The most influential dance acts in the world” –NME
“It’s a record that positively brims with hedonistic thrills”
Already establishing themselves as one of the breakout artists of 2011, Toronto house collective AZARI & III are making their North American invasion with the release of their self-titled debut album, out October 30 on Dim Mak Records. Available for the first time in North America, AZARI & III will feature all the original tracks including the velvety refrains of “Reckless (With Your Love),” the creeping melancholy of “Manhooker” and the unhinged technopera of “Undecided,” along with previous hit releases “Hungry for the Power” and “Manic.”
Heralded by tastemaker outlets (Pitchfork, XLR8R, NME) and mainstream media (BBC, The Guardian) alike, AZARI & III is a nod to classic house revivalism combined with a modern sound. The group’s unique blend of moody electronica, dark yet hooky vocal choruses and analog-thick rhythms has earned them a hardcore following worldwide. The group—producer/musicians Dinamo Azari and Alixander III with vocalists Fritz Helder and Starving Yet Full—have crafted a defining sound that relishes in its references while maintaining a futuristic perspective. AZARI & III possesses an individual classic-future feel with trademark, lush synthesizer textures, biting soulful choruses and ominous overtones.
Originally formed in 2008 in the burgeoning Toronto electronic scene, AZARI & III made their debut with the release of their early singles “Hungry for the Power” and “Reckless (With Your Love),” both of which erupted a storm of awe in the underground music scene and global electronic community. The group later collaborated with Friendly Fires on the track “Stay Here.” In 2011, they released their self-titled debut album in Europe. Known for their astounding live shows, AZARI & III have performed at numerous world-renowned festivals, including Glastonbury, Sonar and Lovebox.
The AZARI & III signing marks Dim Mak’s future endeavors into the indie/rock/pop world. Established as one of the leading independent labels in music today, Dim Mak has developed into a genre-defying powerhouse with influential reach in the worlds of electronic/dance, indie rock, punk/hardcore and more. AZARI & III is the latest development in Dim Mak’s global reach.
“This album already stands the test of time. This is a sophisticated house record with pop sensibility and laden with groove,” says Steve Aoki, founder of Dim Mak Records. “It brings up sounds from the past, but it’s what I think the future sounds like. And Azari & III are beyond any trends, which makes this one of the best albums of our generation.”
In support of the album, AZARI & III are joining Die Antwoord, Seth Troxler, Tiga, Gesaffelstein and more on the Sonar North American Tour, a traveling event in association with Sónar Festival, an annual three-day music festival held in Barcelona, Spain. The Sonar Tour marks AZARI & III’s first North American tour and will feature Dinamo Azari and Alixander III performing live electronics, accompanied by vocalists Fritz Helder and Starving Yet Full. Look for more tour dates to be announced soon.
AZARI & III will be joining Sonar’s North American Tour in October, performing alongside Tiga, Gesaffelstein, Seth Troxler and more…
