To all our avid Twitter followers, and frequents of the #FF shoutouts, we have adorned a whole new meaning towards this overused Friday chant-off… Presenting #FreeFriday.
You may remember Yung Skeeter from his previous incarnation as DJ Skeet Skeet, the Dim Mak signee and seminal EDM champion who’s been enlisted by outlets like Spotify to be their resident selector or mags like Paper and Blackbook who’ve handed him DJ of the year titles. You may also remember That Work as the mellifluous NY dance team responsible for this killer nu-disco track. But if you do not, after listening to this kaleidoscope floor turn of “Soul On Fire,” the inky house stain of this redux will be permanently embedded into your brain. Here’s hoping these two do a lot more together.
Yung Skeeter has done it again with his official remix for That Work’s latest single, Soul on Fire. That Work, a musical group formed by Harry McNally and Kosuke Kasza in New York City met Yung Skeeter in 2007 when Harry was working with clothing company, Pegleg. Just after finishing Soul on Fire, the duo collaborated with Yung Skeeter for a remix for their orginal track. The Yung Skeeters remix is now available for free download to add to to your personal collection of remixes.

Captured on Sunset Boulevard, we took some footage of Dim Mak Records taking over the 5th Annunal Sunset Strip Music Festival this past August. Steve Aoki headlined with a few guests, Lil Jon, Travis Barker, Will.I.Am and Miss Palmer, and annihilated a massive cake to celebrate 1 million Facebook Likes. Over at The Roxy, the Dim Mak stage was full with sets by Clockwork, PeaceTreaty, Yung Skeeter and Bones.

We’d like to thank everyone that came out to the Dim Mak Stage at the 5th Annual Sunset Strip Music Festival two weeks ago. If you didn’t get the chance to make it out here is a wrap up of what went down on that glorious Saturday night.
We had our very own Dim Mak stage at the Roxy, featuring sets by some of our favorites including Clockwork, PeaceTreaty, Yung Skeeter and Bones. Along with performances on our stage, Steve Aoki’s headlining set was full of surprises including popping bottles with Lil Jon, girls crowd rafting, and special guest appearances by Travis Barker, Will.I.Am, and Miss Palmer. If that wasn’t enough Steve ended the show by diving into a 2,000 lb cake, dedicated to his 1 million fans on Facebook. We understand this madness sounds too good to be true, so here are a few photos of the madness and we also made sure to post all the pictures of the event on our official Facebook page for all you non-believers at home.

Dim Mak & Yung Skeeter is happy to bring something new to the table, with this amazing disco-remix of “Stand Again”. As some of you have seen, “Stand Again” will serve as Dim Mak’s next anticipated single, by the artist formerly known as Skeet Skeet. Yung Skeeter came across this remix of his future single, and decided to give it to us early. We felt it was necessary to give it right out to the public, FREE FOR ALL (with internet access and a hard drive, of course).
