Orange County gets a real treat this Thanksgiving Weekend as the internationally known DJ & Producer, Steve Aoki cranks down the gas pedal and shakes things up at The Grove in Anaheim presented by Into The AM. With every appearance Aoki has made, he has always stood before a massive audience of dance music enthusiats who want nothing more than to dance their ass off and on the 26th at The Grove will be no different. To show his solidarity with what is going to be a sold-out show, Steve Aoki will be accompanied by 12th Planet, one of the champion individuals who was responsible for bringing Dubstep to the states, will have the whole venue going mental by giving everyone ridiculous amounts of wobbles and dirty basslines. Autoerotique will be contributing to the night’s mayhem by bringing their impressive sound which stores everything from Dutch house and electro to indie-rock and Norwegian black metal. So if you plan on eating way too much turkey than you should then make it a plan to dance it off at The Grove of Anaheim on November 26, 2011!
Coming off their last banger “Beatrocka,” Spencer & Hill bring us this new video-installation for their latest single “Dance”, out now on both Beatport and iTunes. Our friend Rony Alwin of Rony’s Photobooth recently spotted an old school Dim Mak sticker (circa 2004) in Tokyo while overseas for his photo show. Here’s a photo he snapped of our sticker next his new Japan-themed RPB sticker. Nostalgia!

Think the bustling energy of The Klaxons, Bloc Party and The Kills – so says electronic DJ producer Steve Aoki when describing the latest addition to his Dim Mak record label family, New Ivory. The band features three gents – Alessandro, Mickey and Andy – all hailing from London, England, and according to Aoki their sound is an explosion of British rock that he’s super-pyched for fans to hear. As we begin the next 15 years of the Dim Mak legacy, Felix Cartal is setting himself to new heights with this instant pop-classic. Check out what MTV had to say about the new track and coming release:
“We agree with Steve Aoki (as he mentioned on his recent “Aoki’s House” satellite show): Felix Cartal has a HUGE song on his hands! The song is called “Don’t Turn On The Lights,” and much like when Afrojack hit American radio with “Take Over Control,” Felix’s “Lights” is a bit more mainstream than his fans might be used to. The song features Polina, a vocalist who’s collab’ed with Aoki and Kaskade to name a few, and in advance of the single dropping December 13, MTV got an exclusive teaser of the music video…
“Don’t Turn On The Lights,” is the first single off the electronic DJ-producer’s upcoming album Different Faces, a project meant to show a departure in the artist’s sound.” ~Akshay Bhansali of MTV

Steve Aoki, the Cobra Snake, Danny Masterson and Lovefoxxx take a breather between filming scenes for the video “Heartbreaker” which will be included on Steve’s new album ‘Wonderland’ due out early 2012. Check out more behind-the-scenes photos from the shoot at Rollingstone.com.
It’s been three years in the making, but fans of Steve Aoki are finally getting to hear the first couple of gems off his upcoming Wonderland album. Following debut single “Earthquakey People,” which features Weezer vocalist Rivers Cuomo, the electronic dance music DJ/ producer collaborates with one of the biggest brands in EDM today, or the past decade, for that matter: His latest song, “Tornado,” is co-produced by veteran icon Tiësto.
While the two producers may sound completely different in style, their coming together makes sense. Tiësto has had a sonic renaissance through popular partnering with folks like Diplo, Mark Knight, Kaskade, Hardwell and Marcel Woods, to name a few. And Aoki’s collabos with Nervo, Afrojack, Laidback Luke, the Bloody Beatroots and more have made him one of the most sought after touring DJs around the world. Importantly for each of their respective fanbases, “Tornado” feels equal parts Tiësto, and Aoki: a calculated result executed by two exceptional beat technicians.
